Misano Salon

My parents got great haircuts from a super sweet stylist here. I think it took 30-45 minutes for each of them but the longer it takes I think is a good sign of how much care the stylist is putting in. They liked their haircuts better than their last salon, which they liked but it closed down. It was busy and loud on a Saturday, which was fine, but we scheduled the next visit for late in the day on a weekday, which they said is quieter. I appreciated that the scheduler let me put the appointments under my name and # so that I could manage the text message and email confirmations for my older parents.

Hanna is AMAZING!!! You will not find a better colorist! She does vivid fashion colors on our daughter and gray coverage and balayage on me. She also does GORGEOUS extensions on me. I get soo many compliments.

Wonderful experience at Misano with Hannah. I went in for a cut/style and was able to achieve exactly what I wanted. She was very nice and professional. Will be back in the future for my hair appointments!

I have been loyal to Jamie G. at Misano Arlington Heights for about 12 years. Jamie is so kind, creative and a fabulous stylist! I see Jamie for cuts, blonde highlights, and hair extensions. Everyone thinks I’m a natural blonde because her work is so seamless! I love that I can always ask her to freestyle and she knows my style well enough to always deliver something I’ll love. I always trust her advice on styling products, how to maintain my hair health at home, and style it myself. I look forward to my appointments and feel so fresh and confident after my appointments! Her associates do a wonderful job as well. This salon is clean, beautiful and a relaxing experience.

Mel did an amazing job with my hair, heavy blonde highlights and fresh cut. She achieved the perfect brightness and color of blonde that I requested. My hair feels lighter, brighter, and revived. Love it! Before and after pictures attached

I made an appointment for 9am on their online portal. Showed up for my appointment just to be told the person I booked with was at home and couldn’t cut my hair. Was not offered another stylist. I told them this was the only time I had available today and asked if anyone else can squeeze me in. She asked me 3 different times if I can come another time or day, ignoring the fact that I said that was not an option for me. She made it feel like it was my fault for booking online with an unavailable person. She said "I should not have been able to book with her", like I was supposed to know that. She continued to tell me, over and over I should not have been able to book, and can I come in at 2, and I repeatedly said this was my only time, that is why I made a 9am appointment, my sons birthday party was at 2. She offered me no other solutions. I walked out, called another salon and was able to get right in. Do not recommends, and will never return. Hoping my in laws can get their money back on the gift card they generously bought me for Mother’s Day. I was really looking forward to pampering myself - not sure why this salon was so highly recommended.

Ask for Omar! I’ve been looking everywhere for a go-to stylist, you can trust him for a beautiful balayage and great experience!!
