Public Salon and Shoppe has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on over 69 reviews on Google
One of the worst haircuts I've had in a while from a senior stylist no less. I asked for my hair length to be right underneath my chest and got this choppy confusing haircut. I also asked for layers and have the most choppy layers that were cut across instead of at an angle. The hair on my nape is way shorter then the rest of my hair and the longest is on the sides... I thought about calling in to somehow get this fixed but decided against it since there's nothing they could possibly do to fix my haircut. The layers and overall length are all at different lengths and I prefer not to go as short as the length I have at the nape. The first and last time I go to this salon. If you have thick, coarse, Asian hair. Definitely would not recommend.
I absolutely love Public Salon & Shoppe! Alex is an incredible stylist—so friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful. She takes the time to listen to what I want and offers great advice to make sure my hair looks its best. Every time I leave, I feel amazing and more confident! I can’t wait for my next appointment. Highly recommend!
I’ve been coming here for years with Julia and she is absolutely perfect. So much so ai just basically tell her to do whatever she wants to my hair . Nails it everytime. Also, cant help but want to shop here whether its a cute top or little things they have around the shop . Always so relaxing .
This is the best salon that I've been to in my life. All of the stylists are talented and have unique personalities that add to their work. I get my hair done by Alex and have gone to her for 3 years. We've changed my color a few times, added extensions, etc. And every time I love the outcome. During covid I've seen them take extra cautious measures to ensure safety for each customer. I feel very safe when I'm getting my hair done. I've referred many people to this salon and so far they've all kept going back. If you're looking for a new place to go, this is it.
I am a hairstylist and I love going here for my hair! Julia is my stylist and I can’t recommend her enough! She listens well, gives a very thorough consultation, asks the right questions, and has me walking out of there feeling like I can conquer the world. The vibe and decor and general attitude of this place Is different from most salons, in the best way possible. The only reason I’d say not to go here is if you’re not willing to truly invest in your hair. AMAZING HAIR COSTS MONEY; there, I said it! The detail, products used, and education given to the stylists is reflected in the prices. I have collarbone length hair and got exactly what I wanted and paid about $300- completely reasonable for an all-over lighter hair color and cut! I can not recommend Public Salon & Shoppe enough! 🙌🏻
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this salon! All of the stylists are friendly and professional! I've been going to Molly for over 2 years now. She has an excellent eye for style and does an amazing job with color and cuts! She's taken me from long hair to a sassy bob and black hair to blonde! With all of the changes I want, she keeps my hair healthy and strong! I am always extremely happy with the outcome! Highly recommend!!!
I wanted to so bad to like " The Public Salon" but was so disappointed when I first walked in. I checked in and that was it. No where to sit ( No chair in front) and didn’t say how long she would be. I mentioned it was my first time there. It wasn’t a long wait, maybe 5 minutes. I made an appointment with Hailey, a master hair stylist. She took me back and washed my hair and it was quite a quick wash (barely rinsed the products out)! That was number two strike! After that she sat me down and nice conversation and gave me a ten minute haircut. Right after she was done she said "I going to have my assistant dry your hair and left me and didn’t explain how I wanted my hair styled. Strike number 3, she wasn’t working on a client after me so she of dried my hair or at least asked me about it. First time client, I had no great experience! She spent 15 minutes total for a $67 haircut. The assistant was very nice and did a good job on drying my hair. Not happy and very disappointed with Hailey. My haircut was not great either, not an even cut straight in the back. Why? I don’t know….. I can’t recommend this salon or Hailey!👎 This salon needs better quality of service! The assistant was very nice 👍
