I can not say enough great things about my experience with Daneya at the Ann Arbor location. She was extremely thorough when explaining the process of my facial before we began. She asked questions to get a better understanding of what I hoped for my skin during and after the facial. She took her time examining my skin to make sure I received exactly what I needed. The facial itself was so relaxing, but the results are incredible! My skin is glowing and there is a noticeable difference in my fine lines and wrinkles. I felt so pampered and beautiful. I highly recommend Daneya for any skin care needs. She is incredible!

I’ve been growing my hair out for 2 years, and I was excited to get some curtain bangs for my birthday party today. I’m not sure what happened, but my hairdresser totally botched my hair. It seemed like she didn’t take what she did seriously. She even said things like "unfortunately, this is going to take a few weeks to look perfect" & "I didn’t realize I cut the middle so short." I have social anxiety, so I went to the bathroom to cry my eyes out. I didn’t confront her, but I’m hoping this review will help others. I even showed her a picture of Sabrina Carpenter as a reference. Attached are the botched photos. I am so sad and embarrassed. I still paid full price and the lady who checked me out at the register must have noticed how I was holding back my tears, but she didn’t say anything. This is particularly my fault for going to a random person, but I thought Aveda was a highly looked at hair salon. I will never come back here again. Edit*** So, they called me and did not offer a refund, but to come back in for a free wash/style & as well a free haircut. I truly won’t be paying a visit back. I really just wanted a refund.

Had a really good experience the first two times where I felt listened to and left happy. The last time the stylist seemed rushed and was balancing me and another client at the same time. Left not happy with both blow dry style and color and felt like I wasted my money. Won’t be returning based on feeling like the stylist forgot or rushed through my preferences. edit to add- Suggesting I call the general salon number without any contact information does not seem like real follow up.

Caroline Did not do use the products Lyndsey used 3 months ago at this salon they are in my profile. I asked for to color my roots and put low lites and hi lites in. Easy, right? Not. Caroline talked me out of the hi lites becaus I had a lot of blonde already. SEE PIC 1. I went from a blonde to a very dark brown. I asked why she didn’t use the same products they used on me 3 months ago which I told her I wanted when I sat down in her chair. Her answer was I don’t use those products I guess I should have told you. WHAT?? My hair was so dark.See 2nd photo. I asked her to color my eyebrows. The right one is only done in the middle and the left one only to the middle. My hair was so dark…darker than my natural color. I asked her to put hi lites in. Another hour there. Not good hi lites SEE PICTURE 3 I still hate it, it’s still too dark & DULL I Paid $245. Crazy, right? She should have noticed the eyebrow mistakes! NOT HAPPY. 1st photo when I got there. 2nd photo after root color and low lites. 3rd photo when I left. Will not go back to her.

Olivia did a beautiful job of my hair and eyebrows! She was very nice to chat with. She gave ma a great suggestion for my hair that I love without making me feel like she was pushing product sale. I have loved this salon over the years and this trip Wes no exception 💜

My mom got a haircut here with Lyndsi and spent 130 dollars plus tip. It was half assed, at best. She never touched the back of her hair. We called and let them know we wanted to get another cut but my mom has had cancer treatments So after a few months we called to ask if she could have a makeup haircut and they said no. They said they are corporate and aren’t able to. Very disappointed and would never go back.

I possibly had the very best cut and color experience at this location. I went in for a hair cut and a grey blending kind of color. I left with hair that felt so perfect and the color was done just right. Throughout they were so cheerful and positive with listening to my needs.
