I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Selin hair studio. I was recommended to come to see Shearn and I’ve been coming back for every cut I need for years now. The cut itself is always sharp. Shearn takes his time executing the desired results even checking preferences to my layering. As a male who cares deeply about my hairstyle and appearance, I really appreciate Shearns attention to detail. My wife and I both come to Selin for our hair needs. My go to stylist is Shearn and my wife’s go to is Mary. We love coming to this salon. Overall, the salon experience is well worth it. I’m glad I found a real stylish who knows hair end to end. I highly recommend

I've moved out of the DMV twice since my first haircut here 7 years ago - I currently live in FL and I still come to Shearn for my hair (including today!) - he just gets me. This salon is such great quality, so professional, and I've never once been displeased with my hair or the service I've received. Selin has been long established in this quiet part of Old Town, really conveniently located, reliable, and I highly recommend booking your next hair appt. with them!

I did a walk in appointment for a haircut and absolutely loved my haircut! Mary did a wonderful job with my very tangly and long hair. She cut 4 inches with long layers and face framing. She was so quick and it turned out better than I expected!! The receptionist was also very kind and friendly!

Shearn is an architect of hair he really is amazing! Can create such beautiful layers and is very precise with details. So happy I found him! Edit: he did it again! DREAM hair and it’s still so soft because he prioritizes the health of your hair. I’m in love with the baby lights and how beautifully painted it looks!!

Yet again, my expectations were surpassed! What an amazing salon. Totally understated, this salon will put a smile on your SOUL! An awesome cut and style begins with solid communication. Kim is a great communicator and understands me. I asked her to be creative and she was… I LOVE my new style!!!

Great salon!!! I went in to get my hair done for my engagement photoshoot and the woman that did my hair did an A M A Z I N G job!!! She listened to what I wanted, took her time, let my hair sit in curlers for a bit (I told her my hair was thin and had a hard time holding curls), and was meticulous with the finishing touches. 10/10 recommend!!!

Shearan was amazing and cut my hair really nicely. Best haircut I ever got honestly, found my goto spot
