GloWell Hair Spa

GloWell Hair Spa is a beautiful salon with easy parking and a warm, welcoming staff. I came in for shoulder-length Marley twists and Charmaine did an incredible job — she’s talented, friendly, and made me feel so confident about my hair journey. I’ve continued to receive compliments on the style! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to a few behind-the-scenes issues with scheduling and supplies, which made the process a bit harder on the stylists. I truly believe this team deserves a system that supports them so they can shine even more. I definitely plan to return and recommend GloWell — I’m excited to see their continued growth and success!

I had such a great experience at Glowell Hair Spa! I had an appointment and there was virtually no wait time, which I really appreciated. Samaya washed/detangled my hair and the entire experience was so comfortable and relaxing. The massage chair was a nice touch. I also loved how supportive and comfortable the setup was around my neck. Aienya did my halo braid style and truly put so much care and effort into it. It came out so cute!! The salon itself is gorgeous, the hospitality was top tier and the music playing was such a vibe. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment in a few weeks!

It had been a couple of years since I visited a hair salon but in all my years I’d gone, never had I ever experienced the amazing treatment that I received upon walking through the doors of GloWell salon. From the relaxing environment and fragrance that permeated the space, down to the beautiful smile I was met with from the owner, and then the warm welcome by my hair, stylist, LaToyiah. She took her time to discuss with me the current condition of my hair (I had to confess to a homemade DIY-haircut; not my best choice). She never made me feel insecure or judged by my poor hair DIY project🤣. She gave me an amazing aroma therapy shampoo, conditioner, and steam treatment while I relaxed in a full body massage chair. It was truly exceptional!! I then went to her station where she took such good care of my beautiful grey strands. She provided me tips to keep my hair looking rich, healthy, and moisturized. The haircut was more than I anticipated and described. I felt a beautiful glow. I can’t wait to return for my birthday🎉. LaToyiah’s positive and calming energy, professionalism, conversation, and superior talent left me feeling refreshed and ready to embrace my evening and weekend. I received so many compliments about my hair and questions about my stylist. I was more than happy to share my GloWell visit and new stylist. Total pampering!!!

I was very impressed with my experience at Gowell. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the stylists are friendly, polite, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. My daughter's hair looks fantastic—the products they used really enhanced her natural texture and curl pattern beautifully. They were also very prompt with our appointment time, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Happy with the products used and you can tell they invest in their equipment. I had a painless experience and my stylist had great technique but I think they’re better known for their silk presses not natural hair care. The massage chair was a plus and Chanell B. was fast. I got a flexi rod set and more should’ve been done style wise but I was able to pull the curls out myself once I got in the car and I’m pleased with the results. Editing my review and subtracting a star because I tipped an even dollar amount at the front desk but noticed an extra .60 cents was added when they sent my receipt. Not sure what that was about or why I needed to swipe my debit card more than once but it left a sour taste after a good enough experience.

I found GloWell Spa on IG while searching for a natural hair salon for my daughter, and I’m so glad I did! The spa is beautiful, the vibe is everything, and we were welcomed so warmly. Her stylist Samaya was amazing—sweet, patient, and really listened to what my daughter needed. She received a silk press, trim, hydration treatment, and steam treatment, and the results were gorgeous. Samaya explained everything, even let me decide on the trim, which I truly appreciated. My daughter left smiling from ear to ear, and I even booked an appointment for myself! Samaya and her sister Aaliyah are so kind and welcoming. If you’re looking for a salon that truly cares, don’t walk—RUN to GloWell. You won’t regret it!

This is by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a salon in a very long time. I’m sure a lot of people that care about their natural hair know what it was like growing up and going to a real beautician. A lot of times nowadays hairstylist are not beauticians. From the moment you walk in you’re hit with a smell that relaxes and calms you, the salon was Constructed beautifully. The massage chairs at the shampoo bowls are absolutely amazing. I have never experienced those before. Yalamba was my stylist. She took her time to do a consultation at first to see what my main concerns were about my hair and what my long-term goal was. I felt listen to, cared for as a client, and everyone in the salon constantly checked on me and offered beverages throughout my entire experience. I was in there a shorter amount of time than I anticipated, which is also a win. I have found my new home salon
