Booked an appointment with Vontoyia Marshall.. she canceled the night before the appointment.. still waiting on my refund (deposit and tip).. my daughter also comes here and booked with her before and someone else had to do her hair. I have been to Juanita Clay who was excellent! But I wouldn’t recommend booking with Vontoyia 🤷🏽‍♀️

I hate to do this because my mom and I have been coming here for a few years but the professionalism has gone downhill with certain stylists. I booked an appointment with Toyia for my mom about a month in advance and I get a text message 20 minutes before the appointment saying "I’m not gonna be there" . My mom and I are understanding people but the last few appointments before this has had late issues as well . Our schedules are limited and it’s very disappointing to have to find a different braider but you can only be understanding for so long . I’m not sure what’s going on but maybe it’s time make some changes, we haven’t had any issues with the other stylist but if you’re looking for braids be aware!

Juanita did such an amazing job with my hair! After having some not so good experiences at other salons, it's refreshing to have a stylist that actually cares about the health of the clients hair. This is coming from someone who loves and wears her natural hair and wants to continue to do so. She has very gentle hands. I definitely found my salon!

I absolutely love the salon. From the location to the interior design. Most importantly is the quality of the hair stylists. Their work ethic, their knowledge of how to care for and style hair is fantastic, as well as the top quality products they use. There is no better salon in the entire Albany area. If you are looking for top quality Vanite Hair Studio is the place.

Absolutely love this salon....been a client of Juanita’s for years and I continue to be so happy with her services. The salon looks great. Taria and Juanita are always friendly, professional and prepared to do whatever I ask. Most importantly, they are always prompt. My highest recommendations!

Juanita always does a wonderful job on my hair. There's other stylists there as well. You can get styles from brands to updos. It's nice and clean and they clean the area after each customer. My go to salon.

Love how Toyia did my hair....I had knotless boxbraids done. I have wave nouveau w/some new growths. She was awesome! Love your professionalism and your gift Toyia. While I was there, I also had the privilege of watching the other ladies at work with their patrons. And it was exciting to watch their talents and gift at work. It left me feeling that I have options and with people who are so great at what they do. Thanks to Ms Stepanie located on the corner of Ontario Ave and Washington Ave, Albany for referring me😇
