Exceptional communication skills, friendly positive atmosphere, and extremely child friendly. Walked in and made an appointment for a future date. Spoke to the front desk and shared what I wanted for my son a taper line up. Asked her if they can do that. She confirmed yes. Came in and told the stylist what I wanted a taper line up. She did not reject it. My son was moving alot and did not want his hair cut. She had a clipper set and has been doing this job for over 20 years. Now time for the line up- She can't do it and ruined my sons hairline. Uneven pushed back further then his natural hair line. I told her to stop. I shared photos of what a taper line up is. She said she cannot do that. We'll then, I was lied to at the front desk and when I arrived. The associate told me I need go to a barber shop for a line up. Why do you have a clipper set? Why is this place called the cuttery? Why was I lied too and not denied service when I asked for what I wanted ? Save yourself. Invest at your own discretion. They need to be further trained and educated. But she did offer to not charge me. She did invest in cutting his ends. And did a great job at that. She did try and was encouraging so I still compensated her. Good thing hair grows back and my sons crooked hair line is not permanent. Proceed with caution. Line up is not their speciality or even bare minimum skill set they can perform. I had to but a clipped set from target to fix his line up and did a better job. I am not trained experienced or certified. God be with you on this one.

Peter is the best! He listens to what I'm looking for in a hairstyle and offers his suggestions. I have always been very pleased with what Peter has done whether a simple trim or a dramatic change. There's such a friendly atmosphere, it's a relaxing experience to be there. He's done wonderfully with my kids hair too! 👍👍👍

I had a good experience at The Cuttery. My stylist, Gerard, was ready when I came in and he gave me a great cut after carefully listening to what I had in mind, looking at the texture of my hair and how much I wanted to fuss with it when home styling. I've already scheduled my next appointment with him. Cash or checks only threw me off a little at the checkout.

I've tried to get a shorter, gender-neutral haircut here twice and they don't seem to know what to do with me. Very friendly staff, but their specialty appears to be middle-aged to older women and not youthful or unique cuts. Will be getting a touch-up elsewhere.

Great small shop, clean and friendly and neighborhood oriented. Serious about COVID protocol. Gerard has the gift of gab and keeps me handsome.

The best. Peter gives an expert haircut and Louie does stunning color. I've traveled a lot and can't find anyone better

As always I left my time there feeling reguvenated and ready to take on whatever life has in store for me. I rely on their talented staff to know me as well my hair, they are professionals.
