Great Clips

Everyone here is so kind and helpful. Fasha is absolutely the best stylist. I show her a few pictures and we talk about the differences and she is able to help me find my perfect haircut. I get so many compliments on my hair! I live in a windy area and my hair always looks great!

BUYER BEWARE!!! This is not a hair salon, this is a butcher shop. I’m adding my pictures before and my pictures AFTER, along with the inspo. I’m shaking mad. The stylist put product just in the back of my hair and scrunched it. I came home, wet it and combed it out. This is so wrong. I will now have to spend double the money and go to a hair stylist at a salon. I was just short on time and in the process of lightening my hair so I wanted a cute cut to get off the super light colored ends to make my process easier. This is so nasty. Wouldn’t wish this cut on my worst enemy.

Melissa is absolutely amazing! She is my go-to for cuts for two+ years now! I have a Great Clips closer to my house on 351, but I always go back to the Barrow St location because the staff, environment, and atmosphere in the shop is so refreshing. Fasha always puts a smile on my face when I come in. Shout out to Channing too! She is the sweetest.

Jessie was wonderful! He's fun, knowledgeable, and cut my hair into an AMAZING shag with curtain bangs, taking into consideration my natural curl and hair health. Thank you, Jessie, I can't wait to come back! 🌱

If I could give zero stars I would. I took my 4 year old daughter there and she got a hair chop by Fasha. I explained to her that my daughter has overwhelming sensitivity when it came to her hair thinking she would take her time, be gentle and understanding and she was the complete opposite of that. She was rude, disrespectful, repeatedly yelling at her and she quickly hacked her way through her head. If she hadn’t already started, I would have walked out. The haircut is awful, her manor was awful and the way she treated her client was disgusting. I would absolutely never return to this place and I would never recommend this place to anyone else. If you are considering stopping her to get yourself or your child a haircut, do not stop, pass by and go somewhere else.

Read the woman’s review below, it couldn’t be further from the truth. Fasha is an award-winning stylist who has, literally, thousands of returning clients. Moreover, she’s the manager of this flagship location, who is seasoned and adept at mitigating the occasional concerns that arise from a high-volume salon cutting literally hundreds daily. It’s just a shame that the most bitter, angry folks are the ones with the loudest megaphone. Julie Ann, from the fact you misspelled the word manner (not manor), and judging by how you and your husband behaved, it’s clear you’re not familiar with the concept. I’m sure you won’t be missed.

My wife and I recently took our toddler to get her first real haircut this morning and we were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the experience was. When we arrived, the staff asked if we had checked in online and we told them we hadn’t and it was our first time visiting. The woman at the counter was very kind as we set up a profile for our daughter, and she mentioned it would be about a 30-minute wait. We didn’t mind, but it wasn’t even 15 minutes before they were calling her name! Talk about quick! And then, the stylist who was cutting my daughter’s hair, a dark haired woman whose name we didn’t get, was so sweet and gentle with our little one. She gave her a great clip, pun intended, and we were happily on our way. I can’t speak for everyone, but as for me and mine, we will definitely be coming back next time the kiddos need a cut.
