Adams Market

D.C. needs more corner markets. They are often community hubs. This particular one is small, but has all the basics from snacks to cold bottles of Kim Crawford wine. There’s an ATM in the corner.

Owner was very friendly and store had a nice assortment of items including Korean products.

I love this little store. A great selection of alcohol and a few good snacks. Plus kimchi lovers look no further— there’s homemade containers in the fridge! It is delicious.

Impressive selection of grocery items for being such a small place. I stop in a few times a week for beer. They have a pretty nice selection of crafts, imports, and domestics. If you need cat litter, a nail file, pasta sauce, or an avocado they have that too. Owners are friendly.

I walk an extra bit to shop at Adams Market, passing other stores on the way. I do so because the couple who run it are lovely and always very talkative and friendly; they will order in items for you on request; its very well stocked, in spite of its size; and its not overpriced like some Capitol Hill neighborhood stores can be. A gem!

They had everything I needed and was fairly cheap! Definitely cheaper than Giant. And considering the convenience, it was worth the little bit extra. Plus the lady who was working when I went there was incredibly helpful and nice. Just a great grocery shopping experience.

Cute little corner shop. They had everything! Especially for us tourist that just needed a quick run at the end of the day. The couple that owns/works there was super friendly and kind!
