H-E-B plus!

The curbside pickup and H-E-B app are just icing on the cake, making shopping even easier when life gets busy. On top of it all, H-E-B constantly gives back to the community. There is nothing that I can say that will accurately describe how impeccable the staff here is. I’ve been shopping at this HEB since we moved to Waco over the summer and I have no complaints. Today, I fainted as I was in the checkout line. This was scary as is, especially because I’ve never fainted before, but even scarier because had my son with me. Had it not been for Yahir immediately rushing over to help me and comfort my son while I was able to move into a chair I don’t know what would’ve happened. He was the best. He was calm and genuine. Chatting with my kiddo while I wrapped my brain around what happened. He loaded my items onto the cart and stuck around while I got checked out. He and Sarah brought my son some goodies which made the whole experience much better for him. Sarah, also an angel, stayed with us as well. Brought us water and pushed my cart and my son into the office where she made sure we were ok and comfortable while we sat on the couch waiting for my husband to arrive. She too was calm while truly being concerned for my well being. I am so grateful to both of them as well as every other team member who rushed over to check on us. It made a bad situation much better. I don’t know what they get paid, but I’m sure it isn’t enough. Thank y’all so much.

Omg! I love how the call out the tamales are ready to eat. We got some chicken and beef they were small and super good. The meat was very savory! Not that much masa in them. I would get them again!!

Giant, fabulous grocery store with strong Texas flavor! This place is seriously huge inside. The size allows for a tremendous number of options of almost any category. And sprinkled throughout are lots of products with Texas ties. Loved the Lone Stars crackers, Lonestar sherbert, and Texas cornhole boards. Fun seasonal products also abound. Loved the blue bonnet section. Lots to see here!

This is a good grocery store in Waco Texas. We are visiting from out of town and needed to pick up a few things. This is a huge grocery store. A bit overwhelming maybe. Anyway, they had what we were looking for.

Didn't catch his name, but the employee helping with gas pumps outside today (2/18/26) around 2:20, was super nice after I spilled some gas and was feeling a little flustered. Great employee!!

HEB has the best collection of spices and fresh produce, flowers in the Waco area. I recommend this larger HEB store if you are looking for a large variety of exotic spices.
