Nick's Oriental Express Grocery

One of the pioneer Asian/Filipino stores here in Virginia Beach, and we’re so thankful to have it. The staff are always kind, welcoming, and very approachable. If there’s ever a question or concern, they’re more than willing to help and make things right. Thank you for carrying the Filipino products we miss from back home—it truly means a lot to the community. We appreciate you and all that you do!

I get my stock of Philippine products here. It is well stocked with adequate varieties. They have other southeast Asian items too. Do not expect it to be like your Krogers or Harris Teeter. My go to place. Got me some homemade "tuyo".

Best dilis in the tidewater area hand down. Whenever I am craving dilis I make that four hour drive to Nick's. The staff is very friendly and the food is fresh. The grocery part of the store has a great selection of Filipino foods, more than other places that I have seen. They also have a small bakery and seafood counter in the back.

Quick stop before going back to NC as they had the fried fish in the back which my mom always request from Nick’s grocery store. Plenty of Filipino items plus more. Just make sure check product before buying as most Filipino items anywhere doesn’t have expiration date on item.

Overpriced and i saw molds and expired products. I would be careful buying stuff from them or just go to a different asian store. Like E mart or grandmart.

The other review saying their dilis is the best around is right. Since 2010, my family & I have been bringing their dilis with us whenever we travel as treats or gifts for our hosts/relatives. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve been asked to bring MORE the next time we’re around. They’re just that good! Try it the next time you’re around. You won’t be disappointed 🙂
