We bought these two persimmons at the store and when we ate them the flavor was wrong. It basically numbed the mouth. We were very disappointed in the flavor and the fact that they don’t check the quality of there fruits. Be careful when buying fruits here.

Went inside at 8:52 to grab 3 things for my kimchi.., lol green onion, radish, and garlic! Guy at register said "maam we close in 1 minute" I said yes I know 9, I will be in and out, he said "NO, in 1 minute, we close at 8:55!" So I said "okay, just grabbing something," he said "no, we close in 1 minute!" . . . Okay, G-Mart on Newtown it is, and honestly I shop at this location often… but… because it’s closer! I will probably just save myself the time in the future and just go to GMart, overall distasteful. The craziest thing is, I sat in the parking lot to write this review because the other store doesn’t close until 10. And they didn’t even turn the lights off until 9 o’clock, which is crazy considering I would’ve been in and out and it took me like six or seven minutes to type up this review. 😂 Hopefully it is the same owner, so he didn’t lose any money, but if he’s not the same owner, this location probably just lost a good Loyal customer, because every time I come to the store, I spend $300 to $400 between bed short rib for pho, oxtails, seafood or thinly sliced lamb whatever… like I spend a lot of money on high-quality meats here and he basically turned me away because I went to grab two or three produce items. I don’t think anybody (okay maybe some people do but I would never) go into a grocery store and try to grocery shop at 8:50 at night… Overall I get it you want to go home… me too. 😂 I rushed over after work and basically have to drive across town because the other store was still open. I was literally going to the produce section which is right at the front where the registers are, and all I had to do is grab three things, and it would’ve took me like literally 2 to 3 minutes and I still would’ve been in and out and checked out before 9 o’clock… so yeah so overall distasteful wouldn’t give this place five stars.

Favorite groceries place I have been shopping there for years, but lately I bought couple times some fish that was decaying already. I noticed that when I got home. Please you need to figure out a better way for fish conservation. Everything is expensive so please help us help you.

They have a good variety of middle eastern products! Lots of spices from other countries too, and overall, one of the better international markets in the Hampton roads area.

Great selection of international food from Chinesse to Mexican from Turkey to Russia. Service is only ok and the store is very packed. We will 100% return because we come for the selection not the service.

Thalk about fresh veggies a variety of meats and a tone of different whole fish. You can get all kinds of spices from Spanish to Asian and middle eastern. This place has always shoppers which to me means always fresh in coming produce reasonably priced. And the fact that they have whole sheep head and pig heads makes it even better.

I can find so many amazing products here. My family loves to come here. We just bought everything we needed to make butter chicken and it turned out delightful!
