Great little store. Great variety. We got Japanese milk bread. But they have so many other options. Customer service is welcoming. The place is small so be prepared. Good prices. Definitely check it out.

Despite its small size, the selection is exceptional, offering unique items not found in larger international stores, all in a clean and organized setting. The pastries were delightful and a highlight of my visit. Highly recommend this store for authentic Japanese goods!

Love this store, I visit whenever I can. Mr. Akira is always very polite and helpful. I love all the neat snacks they have, I try something new every time I go. The red bean buns and the grill rice balls from the freezer are my favorites.

I stopped in to see if they had some seaweed salad. I found some frozen and also some frozen lotus root in a vegetable mix. There were lots of unusual Japanese items that may be hard to find elsewhere. Lastly, I found a bottle of American made Sake to try! Great little store to pop in on.

This store is a treasure and I always come here whenever we travel to virginia beach! My husband and nephew absolutely love this place to pick snacks and drinks. The owner is a gem and so kind! I will keep going and have been going for years!

I have searched high and low to find all my Japanese favorites and J Mart delivers! They have everything I have been craving since I move back from Okinawa. Please stop in and support this local business! The gentlemen who has been there each time I’ve gone is the nicest! And they get frequent shipments so frequent the Mart to see what’s new and follow on Instagram. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

My kids and I love Japanese foods and snacks and we come here every couple of months for treats. The young man who time the place is always very friendly, and happy to answer questions, explain about items we aren't familiar with, or talk about items we're looking for of her doesn't have them in stock. Considering the added cost of importing, the food items are very reasonably priced. I've never been to Japan but I've seen enough pictures and videos of similar shops and he really has his shop set up the same, where it feels like you are visiting any one of those shops in Japan. I can't recommend this place enough.
