Enson Market

We were in Virginia Beach and had some time to kill, so we decided to check out Enson Market due to a recommendation from a coworker. I was really glad we stopped in, because they had so many amazing products! The prices were very reasonable, and they had sales running on items that we typically buy, making the purchase less money than if we had gone to a different market. The store is organized very well. We really loved it here and will definitely be back when we are in the area!

I love a solid Asian grocery store. Recently moved and several people of the internet recommended checking this place out. I kept squeaking with excitement that they had all the Asian staples I was looking for immediately after walking in the door. Good variety. Clean. Priced are fair. I liked that it was sort of all around all sorts of Asian - most other Asian grocers I’ve gone to across the country usually have a specific country feel where it obviously leans Korean, Vietnamese, Philippino, Chinese, or Japanese, but this one seemed to have a more even spread of everything.

Alot of stuff here are over priced besides the veggies. They have items here other Asian stores In the area doesn’t carry but it’s not like it’s a must you need. They also don’t have baskets, so if you’re going in for a few items you gotta use the carts or carry it in your hands. I just bring my own reusable bag. For the size that they are, they don’t have a hot food take away. Most Asian store this size would have a food court, But not this one. They have The same store in Orlando, and even that one have different food stands you can get food from. Disappointing if you were to asked me.

First off: checking out is *incredibly* fast. It might seem silly to point out how fast your receipt prints after paying, but I'm telling you, its enough to be surprising. Employees are helpful and kind. Entire store is clean and there's a *massive* selection. Meat isn't very expensive. No complaints. I'm sorry to the employee who saw me pick up a jackfruit just to be in awe of how heavy it is. I'm a simple person. 😔

I love this market, the community really needed this store. With low prices, hot food & a surplus inventory Enson Market has everything I need. I also love to see the business growing with more customers coming in daily. The store is clean, the staff are friendly & I always have a good shopping experience.

This place has a variety of products. As a latina I find many hispanic products. Well organized and clean. Good customer service. Prices are ok. I went back today 3/11/25 and I found recao/culantro (hoja larga) and many others latin products. I added more pictures.

Very disappointed. We’ve been going there since it opened without any incidents. Today, we go in and are stopped by Security stating that my Wife couldn’t have her sling bag, which she uses as a purse. He said they can hold it behind the Customer Service Desk. So, we complied. After walking around, I noticed 3 other Customers with backpacks on. After checking out, I questioned the same Security Guard. I let him know that I observed 3 other Customers with actual backpacks walking around the store. His answer was, "if we were perfect, we wouldn’t be here"! Don’t know what that means. I told him that if he’s going to uphold the Store’s Policy, he needs to do his job. He was very rude and my Wife felt as if she was singled out. We will no longer be going to this Store.
