Hossana Ventures (African/Carribean Grocery Store)

Beautiful African store. Super friendly owner. The items were reasonable and fresh. The store had a variety from drinks, to protein choice to yam, garri, beans, condiments, and biscuits. I got all I wanted. Worth visiting and shopping.

I've been to this store six or seven times and receive the same level of customer service every time. I am originally from the Caribbean and my parents come to visit me often. They love to stick with what they know as far as food is concerned. As a result, I am always looking for stores that sell food product that they are familiar with. I came across Hossana Ventures in Tracy, CA and I instantly made it my go to store for my ethnic food. They sell products from several countries in Africa, (ie) Ghana, Nigeria and so on. They also sell products from Jamaica, Haiti and Cuba. More importantly, they always provided me with great customer service. Their prices are reasonable and very open about their products. I highly recommended this store to everyone, R. Jean-Philippe

Hossana ventures is an absolute delight! Their diverse selection of Jamaican and African foods is unmatched. The friendly staff and quality of the products make it a must-visit for any food lover. The owner was so friendly and the prices were considerably fair.

I was happily surprised when I saw we finally had an African Market Store in Tracy. I'd been traveling to Stockton, Pittsburg and even Oakland sometimes to get particular food items I needed, which could be a drag having to travel so far. Not only am I happy Hossana Ventures are in town, but I'm pleased that the owners are so welcoming, helpful and pleasant. They greet their customers well upon entry, explain what some unknown items are (different cultural food items) and they are filled with pure joy! Also, the products are reasonably priced (adjusted for the current COVID crisis of course, but understandably so). I think it is important to note that I was NOT asked or begged to write this review, nor are the owners aware I'm doing so. I am not a family friend or a relative, I am a highly pleased customer and I encourage you to patronize this business! I surely intend to continue.

Great store, I buy lots of African spices/ food stuff. Owner is very humble and respectful.

I had a wonderful experience shopping here, they were so helpful and there prices were reasonable.

Are they still open? All reviews are from 1-3 years ago
