Asian Food Markets

Nice place for lunch at the hot food corner which offers a large variety of choices, and the price is competitive.

It's great that we have this Asian market on the island. Truly it is gem for those who don't wish to drive out far to get some supplies as the selection is varied in a large market. That said be warned of certain products. Meat is not a high turnover section so it can be questionable at best. We need more customers here to get the market better staffed and to get fresher items in the refrigerated sections.

Love this place! Great selection of both international and regular produce. Good prices, store is clean...they have fresh seafood at the back of store and many frozen Asian products like wontons, dumplings and samosas. They also have hot food available-tasty and cheap! Try their buns- also delicious and cheap but go early for them because the good ones (like the Tuna Buns) sell out quickly!

Compare to the Asian markets in Brooklyn this place is below average. Small selections of almost all things, and the frozen meat section looks like the meat's been there for months. If you wanna get hot pot ingredients you're much better off in Brooklyn or Jersey. However, consider staten island has nothing this is 3 stars for existing. Also the fresh meat section is decent.

It use to be better. Drive to NJ if you can there's 99 Ranch - mostly Chinese, Hmart for Korean and others. This place is close if you live on SI and need something on short notice. Good prices generally for produce. The ONLY place to buy REAL Asian cooking supplies, produce and such.

Inexpensive and a great variety of foods from across Asia. A great place to pick up lunch as well.

Lots of selection but the price is is not as good as Chinatown. Don't recommend the meet department as it doesn't look too clean. They have a good prepped food counter and fresh buns. I give this story an overall grade of B+
