Asian Food Market of Staten Island

Today I was on a mission to get good quality luggage & end up here lol! When I first walked in the smell just hit me & I didn't like it at all. But after couple of minutes of walking around I get used to it I guss..! First time visiting here, very close to my home but never got a chance to visit . Store is big enough, the isles are little tight, so if someone is there then you definitely need to go around & wait for them to leave so you can go in. Infront of the store where you supposed to get the carts , it's also very tight. It was a hassle to get a cart out, there was another customer had the same issue & he helped me out ! Store looks clean & organized. Time will say how it will look later on. The service is great, they asked me couple of times if I need any help, which I appreciated! Now the main problem I had is the prices, the happiness I felt knowing that finally an Asian market nearby just vanished ! Almost everything seems expensive, I was in a hurry but whatever I was trying to get I got shocked ! I will definitely come back to check it out more when I have some time on hands. Me personally love Asian places because of fresh vegetables, fish & Asian spices ! But if it's expensive then what's the point ? I will still be getting my stuff from queens ! And sadly I have to get vegetables from western beef..!

12/13/22. The hot food section and bakery is open. Just had roast pork and duck over rice for lunch. The produce, meat & seafood selection is decent.

Big Asian food market. Reasonable prices. Check out the live fish section. A good variety of dumplings. Fresh veggies and fruits. Fresh fish and meats. Many sales.

High prices and mediocre selection. The old supermarket was better. But the roast pork is pretty good.

A good place to shop for a diverse range of imported foods sourced from a variety of different locations, at affordable prices. There are items here that you can't find anywhere else locally. The store was clean, well-organized, and had plenty of staff around. When I visited an hour before closing, there were no lines and checkout was quick.

Asian food market has most stuff that I need. I bought the roast pork. Pretty okay. Not too salty, the skin are cripsy crunchy. However, just need to pay attention on the food expiration date. Some drinks are expired. There is a bakery section inside.

2020.10 90% ready. Narrow aisle, smaller than I thought. No meat and no cook food yet. Narrow parking space, it has all necessary you need, price ok. Looking forward to see improvement
