The deli inside of the supermarket it's a hidden gem! Super yummy restaurant quality food for cheap. A box meal is only $13!

I come here mainly for the roasted pork banh mi sandwiches. It’s delicious and only $7. There other sandwiches are great too! On the day I came for this review, they were out of the roasted pork banh mi. Oh well… it’s very popular. The overall store is clean and good sized. Their fish sauce selection is excellent.

Yesterday, I came here to send $400 to my grandma in Vietnam so that she could buy medicine. Before I left my house, I counted my money twice to make sure I brought the correct amount I wanted to send. When I arrived, the husband (owner) counted the money in front of me, and it showed $400. Since I’ve used their service for over a year without issue, I trusted them and didn’t double-check the receipt. The next day, my family in Vietnam told me they only received $300. I returned with my receipt and politely asked the owners to review the cameras or system. Instead of checking, the owner was rude to me in front of others, accused me of "always complaining" (this was my first complaint), and refused to even look into it. I was keeping the situation small, yet he chose to raise his voice so that everyone around us could hear. It was clear he wanted to embarrass me for questioning him. A good business should listen to the full story, investigate mistakes, and treat customers with respect. Instead, I was met with rudeness and defensiveness. If nothing was wrong on their side, why not verify? Why attack my character? Accuracy, honesty, and professionalism are important in money transfer services, especially when families depend on it. At this point, they can keep the missing $100. It’s sad that they needed it more than my family in Vietnam. Looking at the past reviews of their money transfer service, I wouldn’t be surprised if the owner tries to deflect. It’s always the thieves that get the most defensive. I will not be returning and would caution others to carefully check receipts and consider other, more reliable services.

This grocery store has more Thai products than Filipino ones. Found fried fish - tilapia that looks good. Vegetable selection is decent and you can get freshly grated coconut here. Ample parking space too.

I've always enjoyed their delicious banh mi sandwiches and their willingness to add extra sauce upon request in the past. IMO it used to taste way better years ago but as of recent it'll still do. However, my visit today has left me quite disappointed. Despite requesting extra sauce on two sandwiches and reminding the female staff member multiple times. She insisted that "one scoop is enough" before finally adding the extra sauce I asked for. This interaction left a negative impression and made me feel unheard as a customer. Accommodating a simple request should not be this difficult. I may try visiting in the morning to see if the experience improves, but I truly hope they take this feedback to heart and work on improving their customer service.

The big sign outside says Ha Tien in bold green and neon, hard to miss. The store is located in one of the most beautiful buildings on University Avenue, a striking Modernist design with flowing streamlined curves and lines outside and repeated inside. The market itself is very well stocked, clean and bright and well ordered. Excellent range and variety of foods, prepared dishes available, hot and fresh. You really deserve a visit!

I came here for the famed Banh Mi, not realizing majority of the good reviews were over 2 years old. We got two roast pork sandwiches. If you cut the sandwich in half it is 90% bread. Where is the roast pork? It was microwaved from the back and old. Majority fat. And you have the audacity to charge me full price. This place is a scam, a rip off, deplorable and shameful to our cultures food. How dare you?
