Golden Palace - Asian Market and Deli

Hidden gem market, big selection, with a big deli area that cooks hard-to-find Burmese foods! Forgot to take pics, will update later. The inside is clean. The grocery area has many Burmese items I haven't found at other markets. There's a surprisingly large seating area for eating. There's a handwritten menu in Burmese with some English translation. If I remember the menu correctly, I think my friend & I got Shan Noodles & Garlic Noodles. They tasted amazing!!! (Note: the Shan people are an indigenous people of Burma, so "Shan" is a reference to these people.) There's Burmese dishes I've NEVER found anywhere else in Minnesota on the menu! This place is a seriously amazing place with great food & selection. The owners also seem to have solidarity with the indigenous peoples of Burma, like the Karen people, who are a huge community in Saint Paul.

The best grocery store to go in Rice street. The new deli is super clean and I recommend Nann Gyi tote in Salad section. Excellent customer service and friendly staffs too.
