H Mart Downtown Seattle

Awesome place! Bigger on the inside. I worked nearby for ages and never realized it was there due to the recessed nature of the entrance as seen in the photos. Selection is fantastic, there's snacks and drinks, groceries, and a huge selection of hot food. I'll be coming back here often!

1. It takes 5 minutes from Seattle Starbucks 1st store! 2. If you live near downtown Seattle and miss Korean food, go here! 3. The price is much higher than that of Korea, but it is reasonable for US prices. 4. The staff is kind, and there are security personnel when you go down the escalator, so it's safe. 5. There is so much that there is nothing missing. Korean products 6. There are instant foods, ramen, and tofu. 7. I highly recommend it to Koreans traveling near downtown Seattle!

I bought 4 pieces of this product at H Mart, and one contained extreme mold/ fungus when I opened it. What makes this even worse is that the best before date was July 12, 2025, yet I purchased it on January 8, 2026. All 4 pieces were expired 🙈 This is completely unacceptable and a serious food safety concern. There was no way to notice this before buying. I expect far better quality control from H Mart. I’ve attached photos as proof. I hope the store takes this seriously, checks their stock handling and storage procedures, and improves quality control to prevent this from happening again. Unfortunately, this experience makes me very hesitant to buy any products from this location in the future, seriously start doubting the quality of ready-to-eat food

Wow they have everything. Crazy that they have packed all of the things into this space. Their hot bar is the best deal in downtown. Tons of fried chicken, full meals, even individual beers. I had the Korean fried chicken, it was $12.99 and easily fed two people. Tons of snack options under $5, hot and cold.

This has become my favorite spot in the whole city , especially for food . You can have authentic Asian food for a much lower price than the rest of the town . I would like to highlight kimchi fried rice and different types of fish as my favorites . I even chose this place to eat vs restaurants because the food is great at a fraction of the cost and you don't have to tip 🤷

This H Mart is a great spot for Asian groceries, conveniently located in the basement of the building—just take the escalator down. While the store isn’t very big, they make excellent use of the space, stocking a wide variety of Asian ingredients, snacks, and essentials. They also have fresh produce like fruits, which is a nice bonus. Whether you’re looking for specialty items or just picking up a quick grocery run, this H Mart has a solid selection despite its smaller size. A great stop for anyone craving Asian goods in downtown Seattle!

This store is in the heart of Seattle. If you’re within walking distance from Pike’s market, you can walk right into this store to but any asian unique finds. It’s an awesome option for buying affordable ready to eat meals and drinks. The option can be overwhelming due to the quantity of varieties the store carries; but it will always be totally worth your time. It’s also a great place to shop if you’re staying at a nearby hotel for the weekend or vacation. You can buy all your essentials at a reasonable price here. I personally love the unique variety of groceries, ready to eat meals, coffees, drinks, candies, snacks, poke bowls, sushi, and souvenirs that i got here. It makes me feel like i travelled to different countries all in one place. You won’t regret your visit.
