Went here with some amazing Filipinos to shop for groceries and eat sme great tasting food. It was a fabulous experience. Store is so clean, ambiance is awesome. It has a cultural flare. Love the variety of fresh fish and ready made to eat food served hot, fresh and so serap. 😋 definitely enjoyed it all. Excellent job Santa Clarita.
I had high hopes for this place. It was ok at opening but I just left the store (3/23/24) and I am deeply disappointed. Reeks of fish and yes, it is going to have a fish smell. They sell fish on ice but this was not normal. This is also the third time I've either had the cafeteria food or prepared meals. Average to awful. It's been mentioned in other reviews but check labels on anything you buy. They sell a LOT of expired goods. It is a big store with a lot of potential but it is, at least right now, fulfilling none of its promise. I may give it one more shot in a month or two but unless it improves dramatically, on everything, that's it. Shame. Could be great but sadly, it sucks.
Very nice market there’s a bakery (try the bread fresh from the oven)and grill. Fruit and veggie selection is awesome with lots of exotic stuff. General grocery is great with a wide variety of Asian foods. Plenty of fresh fish and a very nice butchers counter. The staff is very friendly and helpful the service is excellent. Fun place to shop.
Visited Seafood City this afternoon with my wife to get some hot bread and ground meat and veggies as well. Not so busy today compare to weekend and everything went well and no hassle. Store is really clean and the sound of Holiday songs is keep on playing. Will be back here soon to get the live lobster at the fish section and the oysters as well for my BBQ time in the weekend. Peace 😎😀😃
I am going to give this Seafood City Supermarket another try but my first experience of this place was pretty awful, although its a new location and they offer a ton of prepackaged food basically; Filipino tv dinners some frozen, some not, my only concern is how long have they been sitting there and if their are employees are constantly checking the dates and times. I was cooking dinner for my sister and the fam, I forgot some ingredients and decided to stop by. I love the layout, customer service needs some work but I get it still new... I splurged on the pichi pichi, I would never do this! We decide to open it a couple hours after purchase and the dessert was spoiled. The smell was off, the texture different and even the coconut was spoiled. I wasn't going to drive 15 mins to return the item instead, I decided to review the place. I hope they take this seriously because selling rancid/tainted food can cause a foodborne illness.
Cute store, poor labeling. Has lots of good things in stock, but I have to check a lot of the prices using their website. Many items are not labeled at all, or labeled incorrectly. I hope that this is something that gets fixed because I would love to rate this store higher, but this personally drove me a bit crazy while shopping here.
One star for the unique selection. Would've been a five star if the male employee with the red apron didn't go into the female restroom while my niece was using it. I saw him walk into the restroom and shout if anyone was inside and it terrified her. Disgusting man, who allows this kind of behavior??
