Asian Market

Only place to buy any pan-Asian food ingredients. It's not the only place, but it's the only place you need. Great people. Really nice, extensive selection. Don't skip their produce or freezer selection too. Occasionally there's even prepackaged (but freshly made) dim sum at the front counter if you're lucky. And many of their products are the right brands/quality, good stuff. A trip to ranch 99? skip the bridge tolls and stay in Marin. Go to this place instead!

An Asian Food Market for Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Filipino food ingredients since 80’s (?). You may call them to ask if they have a certain Asian vegetables available there since they carry some obscure fresh vegetables and many different Asian cooking sauces. Last visit, I noticed they still had Huy Fong Sriracha Hot sauce at $8 per a regular size bottle. The new owners who bought in 2020 are nice and hardworking. I often buy fresh (not frozen) egg noodles from this store (came from SF) for $3. It’s the only store that I am aware of stocking fresh egg noodles made in SF Chinatown

This place is a hidden gem! Friendliest super knowledgeable couple runs it and will help you find that impossible to get item you’ve been searching for. So many fun things to try, with delicious ready to go lunch and snack items made fresh daily.

The Asian snacks and ingredients at this market are unmatched: they always have exactly what I want/need when I come in! The owners are very friendly, and they always greet me with a warm welcome when I come in. Lisa, one of the owners, is always willing to help me find items I need, and she’s always chatting with me at checkout. And Saturdays are my favorite day to come in because they offer goodies for you to purchase like dim sum and steamed buns at checkout. Love this place, love the owners, and most importantly I love the products they offer here!

Great for the only Asian store in San Rafael/Marin. They don’t have prepped meat but all the base ingredients for Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese food!

I had a great time shopping here! I found things I'd seen in movies like tteokbokki that looked really tasty but were unlikely to be found in most American stores (it WAS good too). There was ube popcorn. I got hooked on ube from Mitchell's ice cream in San Francisco. I actually saw some other flavors from Mitchell's there in different products other than ice cream. This place is a 10/10 store if you are looking for something other than standard American fare! Will definitely be going back. Plus the man behind the register was SO nice!

Our local go-to-Asian-Market. Expect greetings from the friendly family who owns this special place. They have a free parking lot, with a great location. This is a small store with a decent variety of fresh veg's, fruit, meat & fish, and what you need for kitchen staples with reasonable pricing. We're regulars for 2 yrs, and happy with this quaint market, and finding anything comparable isn't easy in Marin. 🙂
