Absolutely love H Mart. It’s always a fun stop and you never leave empty-handed. The selection is incredible, especially if you’re looking for something different. I picked up a bunch of unique Korean snacks you just don’t see at regular grocery stores, and everything felt authentic and well-stocked. Unexpected bonus: some of the best mangos I’ve ever had. Perfectly ripe, sweet, and juicy.

Impressive variety of produce, from fruits nicely wrapped and presented with perfection to mushrooms, sprouted mung beans, soy and several other kinds. Fish, fresh, whole, filleted, frozen, in sushi trays, individual and party size. All sort of Pork meat, organs, snout, feet, Chicken, Beef, large selection of bbq cuts for Korean BBQ or Japanese dishes. Rice galore! Eggs, any kind raw and aged. This is by far the top Asian Market Ive visited this year in San Diego. Kitchen utensils, cleaning and shower products. So much to list. Beer and wine.

H Mart is the best Asian supermarket in the U.S. I’ve visited different locations across various cities, and this one, although not the newest and with slightly dated decor, stands out for its service. At checkout, the cashiers and bagging staff are more professional than in most Asian markets—they’ll help pack your items instead of leaving you to do it yourself. The food court at the entrance is fantastic, offering authentic Korean dishes at reasonable prices, and since it’s partly self-service, you don’t feel pressured to tip heavily. The bakery, while not Paris Baguette, is also excellent and worth trying. Inside, the meat section is especially impressive, with a wide variety of high-quality cuts, including premium Japanese beef, plus a great selection of other meats and seafood. They even clean fish for you. Even if you’re not Korean, you can find authentic Chinese and Japanese ingredients here. This is the best Asian grocery shopping experience I’ve had. If you visit on weekends, the food court is packed with hundreds of people—it’s that popular

Love this place. First time there. This place is massive. A huge selection of Asian food and other household items. The bakery is over priced though. I am vegetarian and I found so much. Prices are reasonable. Staff are super helpful. Very clean store that is well stocked. I found veggie dumplings, spring rolls and veggie bao buns. It's not close to where I live. I was in the area. I will definitely go back when in the area. Also a gas station with gas for 3.87. Plenty of parking as well.

I went in on a Saturday afternoon to pick up a few things for a homemade bibimbap and ended up browsing longer than I expected. The store isn’t huge, but they carry a pretty solid selection of Korean staples like gochujang, different kinds of kimchi, and fresh produce you don’t always see at regular supermarkets. The 직원 at the counter (I probably spelled that wrong) was friendly and helped me find the right brand of rice. Prices seemed fair for imported items. It felt clean and organized, just a little tight in the aisles. Overall, it’s a reliable spot if you’re looking to cook Korean food at home.

This is a solid spot for Korean groceries. They have a nice bakery and a pretty big food court. They also have a nice good selection of dessert rice cakes and ready-to-eat meals. The produce section is big, but most of it isn’t organic and could be fresher. Still, if you’re looking for Korean ingredients, they pretty much have everything you need. Worth checking out!

First time at Hmart and I will be back. Really love the fresh seafood and produce and imports.
