Here’s desserts are too beautiful to not get any! We tried 4 different kinds and they are all very yummy, and the price is cheaper than when you get from coffee shops or restaurants. But somehow they taste quite similar, nutty, flaky and sweet. Overall, I liked and probably will go to get more in the future.

There's a great variety of ingredients, vegetables and food. From slavic cuisine to Mediterranean. The prices are great too, and the employees are nice and always answer any questions you might have. Highly recommend!

We always buy the cous cous here. Top quality products. We love the pistachio and saffron ice cream and the fresh bread. We ended up buying three kinds of bread because we love it! The bakers are always very kind. Yesterday I missed the fennel root. Balboa International Market is one of the few places in San Diego area where you can buy fennel bulbs. I hope they bring them back. Another thing that I like of this market is the variety of fresh herbs and shallots. I think it's the only place where you can buy fresh lemon basil. And the pomegranates! They have the biggest and most beautiful pomegranates.

I can't say enough good things about this market! I absolutely love and appreciate the huge selection of persian goods. The deli meats are great and the bakery makes the best persian pizzas ( as close as you can get to how we had it in Iran). The people working at the bakery are sooo sweet, helpful, and kind. I left every interaction with them with a huge smile. I will be making more trips to San diego just so I can go to this market. They had this drink called Istak which was my favorite soda in iran. It has been impossible to find anywhere else in the US. I though the prices were on the high end until I went to some iranian shops in LA were the prices were criminally high. So now I think prices are fair comparatively. I absolutely recommend their deli meats, and the special pizza. I can't wait to come back!! Definately worth a visit!!!

Prices are decent. Products are good with a good selection of products as many things you would not be able to find elsewhere. Produce is good with reasonable prices. Parking is horrendous.

Amazing supermarket! So many delicious products and great variety. Everything was fresh, well organized, and the staff was really friendly. I found so many tasty snacks and unique items I can’t get anywhere else. Highly recommend!
