Mega Foods Salem

I couldn't get help in the meat section. When I did finally ask someone they seemed like I was interrupting them and didnt want to be bothered with me. I dont normally shop here so I didnt know you had to bag your own groceries, the lady that checked me out seemed a little upset that I didnt know this and It took me a minute to bag my groceries. Definately werent very friendly to me. I wont go back.

I went to Mega Foods like i always do to buy meat there, sadly i will not be returning. When i got home and opened the bag there was a Foul smell coming from the meat (like rotten). I went back to see if I could return it and they said they couldn’t do anything about it and that the meat was "good". That if THEY say its good then it is. As if I don’t know what good meat smells like. They also said if they returned it they would have to throw it away. Well it should have been in the trash already. They told me to do whatever I want with the meat but they will not be returning. I spent over $50 just to throw it away because i will not be feeding this to my family risking illness. And at the end i did flip the employee off because she was very rude and told me to not come back. Which i wont she doesn’t need to tell me.

Went to go get deli, and the worker grabbed my hot food items with her bear hands, still wet from just washing the dirty dishes. Absolutely gross. If that's what they do in the front imagine what they do in the back.

Absolutely wonderfull store. They have every food items for all Oregon's Cultures. Rarely do I give a review but if you haven't been to Food for Less on Lancaster Salem its worth trip. You will be impressed also

Wonderful seating area next to the deli and Mexican pastries. I was surprised to find Russian foods, Canadian breads, Amish Foods and Irish foods throughout the store. Large variety of produce and very good prices. Great selection of Mexican spices. Also picked up a marinated chicken from the hot case. Really delicious was a nice spice to it. I found an aisle was bulk foods and one gallon cans. The store was clean, checkout was quick and the service was friendly. 🙂

Big store has alot of delicious Hispanic foods.the store was very well organized and clean has 2 taco trucks out front and a little raspado shop inside. It is a great place to find hard to find foods. Great variety of foods all in one store.

Food for less is normally okay. I usually come here for their bakery. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming here anymore for that. I was on my way to the bakery section, and I see flys flying around. Which grossed me all the way out. I didn’t even touch the handle. I don’t know if anyone else would still grab from this, i know i wouldn’t.
