We went shopping to get some essential items, and we had an online order as well. We parked in the designated area for pickups, and within a few minutes, a staff member brought the order — which was great and efficient service. Afterward, we went inside the store for additional groceries. We picked up some pastries, mushrooms, donuts, and some flowers. At the self-checkout machine, there was an issue scanning the flowers — the machine didn’t recognize the item and asked for it to be weighed. When we did that, it showed a different product (a type of sweets). A staff member responsible for the self-checkout machines came, took the flowers to double-check on another machine, and the same thing happened. She then went to verify the correct price and returned to inform us that it would be better to proceed with the price shown because it was cheaper — which was a nice gesture and appreciated by the customer. Overall, it’s a great supermarket with a wide variety of items and better prices compared to other stores. 👍🙂

This is my local HEB and I’ve been shopping here for a year now. I typically have a great experience here. On 3 occasions, I’ve been racially profiled in self checkout by employees. Today, I’m fed up. At 12/1/25 around 8:20-8:30pm, I’m checking out. The employee comes and hovers next to me, watches what I’m doing. Nobody else. Every time this has happened, I look around and I’m the only black person checking out. If this is how you guys train your self checkout employees, it is disgusting. I spoke with a manager and he was dry, dismissive and monotone. He did not apologize for this experience and immediately assumed that the employee didn’t mean to do it. He says they are trained to observe without interference unless the customer asks and she probably was seeing if I needed help. If you think I need help, ask if I need help! I understand defending your employees but 3 times is not a coincidence. It’s a PATTERN! I love H-E-B and I’m born and raised in Austin. I’ve been coming here my entire life. But these experiences have truly hurt my feelings because of how much I support this store. There wouldn’t be no HEB without the customers, ALL customers, ALL races. Any management or employees that feel this is okay, you’re apart of the problem and there needs to be actions taken to ensure that no one experiences this again.

ROUND ROCK HEB has great selections for everything! I appreciate how items are grouped together for use, holiday celebrations, quick delicious meals, items for baking and entertaining! Always plenty of cashiers to get you checked out quickly! Thank you HEB, thank you for all you do for our community and state!!

This HEB is clean, big, well stocked, lots of staff, everyone is friendly & at the ready to help. Prices are good; comparable to Kroger. Most of the full service check out lanes are open (unlike Kroger or Walmart). Nice attractive selection of potted plants, seasonal items outside. Big meat dept. Nothing like this in DFW!

Finally I’m close to an HEB. Best grocery store in the world. I’ve lived in Florida, CA and AZ but grew up in SA and there is no comparison. Best prices, nice store and great product. Great selection of wine and I wish this had the BBQ option but regardless it’s still great. One of the perks in living in TX. Definitely recommended.

My overall experience felt a little hostile as soon as I walked into the store I saw an employee he had a blue shirt on the kids name was Joshua the shirt that he was wearing interpreted that he was one the managers. This isn't my local HEB my local HEB is 620 so I thought I recognized one of the store managers by the name of Jeff so I politely go up to him in like are you Jeff but I forgot Jeffries bald head however the way Joshua responded was so inappropriate so unprofessional and really made me feel uncomfortable throughout my shopping experience. Joshua you seen as if you are overly worked and underpaid and I hope that you are not encountering everybody the way I was encountered as soon as walking into the HEB Beautiful store beautiful display but you being at that front of that store with that type of behavior is sour 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿 so my visit from this encounter was January 15th 2026 around 3:00 in the afternoon. so ladies if you see Joshua and he is obviously a manager he had the blue shirt on don't speak to him cuz he going to think you trying to I guess trying to complain I don't know his attitude was absolutely horrible and it's contagious

This is our go to HEB. The one thing I wish they had was a good deli....fried chicken and other stuff. Other HEBs have stores like this. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Each HEB is different and carry items other stores may not have. Prices seem to have come down a bit. 12/4 update. I wish they had more hot food items to go. Also, how can HEB improve the quality of its chicken wings? The wings have been on par with the wings you get at 7-11 (small and fatty). 1/12 here at the mad rush! 2/10 here picking up Superbowl supplies. 6/30 this place is always busy!
