Chhean's Market

Shop owners were very nice and despite being small they had a really nice selection of items including fresh produce! Likely will be our go to for local Asian specialty items! The prices seem competitive for the area. They told us they have Dim Sum on Friday which we hope to come back to try 😊 Globe Trotter's one star review misses the mark since they expected it to be a convenience store, not realizing that the convenience store is the business next door. Also called this family business a front for illegal activities? Bad take from someone who hasn't even been inside the store.

Besides having a name that can't be pronounced, Chhean Marlket is supposed to be a convenience store, but doesn't serve as such. Despite the opening hours clearly displayed claiming the store would be open, at 10:00AM on a regular weekday the store was closed. Through the windows I could glance a meager selection of articles, among which some school supplies, but the store was mostly empty. Perhaps just a facade for a more lucrative business... N.B. I couldn't help but notice most of the reviewers of this store here only wrote 1-2 reviews total; they use the same wording, with no photo proof, and most of them also wrote the reviews around the same time. All this is a clear indication they can't be trusted.

My kids and I Love the low affordable prices on items that would be very expensive at other stores, especially when your on a budget. When you want to find fresh Vegetables / fruits/ spices/ noodles/ ingredients/ and snacks etc. This is the market to go and meet the friendliest family own environment... Very clean... Love it!!!! Thanks for opening an Asian market in Rohnert Park!!!!

As a Chinese American who's lived in Fremont for many years before migrating up to the North Bay, I'm surprise how Chhean is able to offer their wares at prices comparable to 99 Ranch or Lion's market. It's a store that checks off all the boxes you didn't know you're looking for. Weird incense/medicine smell? Check. Narrow aisles with shelves brimming with the essentials? Check. Things you don't want but now that you saw them you can't live without them? Check.

Friendliest family owned grocery market boasting a lot of goods at low affordable prices. Consists of mostly Cambodian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean ingredients for now; fresh Asian fruits and vegetables; frozen meats/seafood/others; special once in a while items (Bahn Mi sandwiches, pork buns, broiled pork, roasted duck, steamed chicken, etc), small kitchen utensil--just to name a few. Key notes: Friendly family owned, affordable Asian cooking/ingredients, on-the-go, vegetarian/vegan/pescetarian budget-friendly, accessible. My go-to place for cooking essentials. Cheers. 😀

New asian market that just opened in Rohnert Park California. It's clean and the staff is very friendly. Plus a variety of goodies! Shop and support your local businesses
