'm honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews because my experience here was great. The store was very clean, the staff was super friendly, and it definitely has that family-owned welcoming feel. What impressed me the most was the variety of products. If they carried one type of item, they carried multiple options- like six different soy sauces and a huge selection of Asian sauces overall. They also had locally-sourced products and even shopping carts inside, which made it easy to browse and shop comfortably. It felt like a really well-stocked hidden gem with a little bit of everything. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and I'll definitely be coming back. Honestly, this is a really cool shop and worth checking out.

When ever my sister visits we spend an hour in here looking and finding things she can't find where she lives. It's fun and we always leave with our bags full.

This store packs a punch. Not only can you find most everything you need for SE Asian cuisine, but also the fresh Asian greens and herbs. Really a treasure to have such access to quality fresh produce most sourced locally. The owners are so kind and knowledgeable. Just a joy all around.

Totally insensitive to its customers!!! Post operating hours and don’t abide by them. Sat here for 40 mins as customer after customer showed up to discover the same thing that they were closed without any type of notification left in the door!!! Then a lady shows up, lets herself in and locks the door behind her. A simple sign would suffice when you operate a business when you need to leave. Stop inconveniencing people. This is the second time it’s happened this week alone. If there is a third, I promise I will not be back!!!!!

I would have loved to shop here. I came at 2:30pm on a Friday. The door was locked. The lights were on and there was no sign of any kind to indicate why they were closed. I knocked and no one came. I would have gone to one of the other markets in town but was curious. Beware you might drive here for no reason because they're closed inexplicably. I should have checked the reviews. I'm disappointed because I want to support local shops, but trust and transparency in a business is important.

Small store but had everything we were looking for. Plus we found a new favorite jerky there! I didn't even know squid jerky was a thing!

Now a days I think a majority of society expects too much. If a store has a note on their door saying that they are closed, then just go home, if the "open" light is off there is no need to write a bad review. Stop with the entitlement. The owners could have had a family emergency and couldn't make it in or even if they did and locked the door, if the "open" light is off, they are not open for business. They are the most nicest, unbiased and family oriented business owners I've met in Redding. The stress of owning a business is hard enough and you don't know what they go through. Instead of treating people like servants, treat them with respect and remember they are people too.
