Ebisu is such a cute Japanese snack and lifestyle shop! They carry a wide variety of tasty treats along with everyday essentials and fun little items that make browsing super enjoyable. The store has a bright, welcoming vibe, and it’s easy to spend time just exploring the different shelves to see what unique goodies you’ll find. We even noticed claw machines upstairs, which added an extra playful touch—though it would be even better if they accepted credit card payments. Overall, we had a great time visiting and would definitely come back to shop again. Cheers! 🥂
As a certified weeb, what can I say? My inner white girl desires for anime and anime related products was fulfilled at Ebisu. Figures, stationary, snacks, beauty products and much more can be found in the hallowed aisles of this establishment. Not into anime? Worry not. There are plenty of products that do not sport the animated characters that many hold dear. You can be lame and buy products without Luffy and Zoro. You will be judged though, mostly by me. But since we have not met then you likely won't be affected by my opinion of you. I was delighted to see the beautiful lil hamster, Chikawa displayed throughout the store. I do love me some Chiikawa. One day...I will go back and buy that adorable lil mug. Instead I got an incredibly cute plush doggie whom carries an avocado on it's back like a lil backpack. He has been dubbed Cado, appropriately. I also got a drink that says it was made of corn. And guess what? It indeed tasted of corn! 🌽 Wow, Japan be lightyears ahead of us with corn water technology. If you find yourself in Raleigh or anywhere near State campus and you're looking for something fun to do why not check out Ebisu? I think you'll be delighted as I was.
Wow, the area around this shop has been changed a lot in a fancy way. It's a cute and fun place. You can find a variety of Asian snacks and drinks, toys, figurines, and beauty products.
When I lived in Japan in Setagaya as a Pre-K English teacher, stores like this were some of my favorite places to explore. This one truly impressed me. From makeup and skincare to shampoo, collectibles, sweets, and savory snacks — the variety is incredible, and they even carry nostalgic items that are hard to find. I didn’t get to see everything due to time constraints, so it definitely calls for a second haul trip. If you’re familiar with Don Quijote, this is the closest comparison I can make in terms of selection and fun finds. You won’t be disappointed — it’s absolutely worth checking out.
My new favorite store. Well equipped and organized. If you’ve been to Japan this is definitely nostalgic. Has many items. Probably the only thing that’s missing is just prepared foods or ice cream (seems to be coming soon). Decent prices and the attendant/owner was very pleasant. I would invest in more stores like this one in a heartbeat. Arigato gozaimas.
It's great, close to authentic, and feels like you're in a small shop in Tokyo, especially the upstairs. I just wish they stuck with all Japanese products. I saw some Korean stuff in there.
I absolutely love visiting Ebisu Life Store! The moment you step in, you’re greeted with an amazing variety of unique snacks, drinks, and Japanese-style goodies that you just don’t see in lots of other places. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the store always feels fun and full of little surprises—from colorful candies to quirky home goods and cute blind boxes. Every visit feels like a mini adventure, and I always leave with something new and exciting. If you’re into Asian lifestyle products or just looking for fun things to try, this place is a must-visit in Raleigh!
