Love the mango and taro bingsu! Portions are huge. Would recommend getting one medium to split between two people or get two smalls to try different flavors. The ice is so soft and creamy. Didn’t realize the ice was frozen milk til we looked it up 😅 so delicious!

Portland only has two Korean shaved ice spots and we love both equally but for different reasons. Snowy village is so so good for the classics, but be prepared to put out some money as they are spendy. I almost always get the strawberry, or sometimes the oreo and strawberry. My partner loves the cheesecake and the fruity pebble and when we are feeling like we can manage it we get the seasonal fruit like the watermelon (an entire half of a watermelon hollowed out filled then topped with all the insides of the watermelon). It is delicious. Add some sweetened condensed milk if you want a little extra jazz! We come pretty frequently and its always consistent!

Oh my god. I saw this place on tiktok. I dont always crave sweet stuff, but was suddenly in the mood for ice cream. This place blew me away. The shaved ice is like, such a cool texture and the flavor is so simply sweet. Not overwhelming but literally perfect. I was able to consume way more of this than most desserts I get. I didn't even order what I wanted, I just got my friend something and i ate some of theirs. And the fact that something I wouldn't have chosen was SO good still. I dont know if its angel cake or pound cake but whatever they are doing with these little cake bits are phenomenal. 10/10 will be back for SURE.

The bingsoos are fantastic on a hot summer day. My wife and I ate here 3 days in a row, because…why not? The half strawberry, half mango was refreshing and the shaved ice itself has a sweet, creamy texture. One of the other days I ordered the black sesame bingsoo, which was also excellent. The different toppings reminded me of halo halo (a Filipino dessert). The reasons I gave them 4 stars is not because of the food. This place is severely understaffed on summer days and the wait is incredibly long when everyone is getting off dinner at the same time. We luckily beat most of the crowd, but still waited 30 min to get our order. Two employees is not enough to keep the traffic moving. Understaffed also means tables are not maintained and tend to be covered in a sugary, sticky mess.

This watermelon bingsu is absolutely amazing—refreshing, flavorful, and truly delightful! It’s by far the most delicious bingsu I’ve ever had. Unlike the overly sweet versions at other places, their shaved milk ice is perfectly balanced and not too sugary, which I really love. I’ve been waiting since winter for this seasonal watermelon flavor to return, and it was worth every second. Highly recommend it! This is hands down my favorite dessert spot in the Portland and Vancouver area.

This was my second time here. The food is pretty tasty, a regular is much much larger than you'd think, so I would've been better off ordering a small. We went mid day, service was relatively fast, compared to last time, but there is a slight wait. The vibes though were kinda in shambles. The design of the place is supposed to be trendy, but it's very obvious it's not maintained well. The floors and walls are noticeably dingy and dirty, not to an unsafe or uncomfortable level, but for a place that chose a white design scheme, it's incredibly noticeable. The guest wifi had no service, and the building has really bad cell reception. I get the nature of shaved ice makes it kinda messy, but the tables were pretty dirty. Probably the biggest issue was the condition of the furniture. One of the benches was incredibly wobbly, almost fell when I went to sit. Half the tables are not sturdy either, wobbling around. I'd exercise caution when sitting down inside. Overall the food tastes good, but the actual shop could use more TLC. not a regular destination but a good once in a while splurge if you enjoy the tastes.

Yummy yummy! Love it here, the bingsu is flavorful but still light enough that you don’t feel sick after eating everything! 4/5 stars because the custard inside the French taiyaki tasted like banana pudding mix and not custard…
