The parking lot is full of transient, and the vendors inside the shopping centers werent all opened so it gave off an eerie feeling walking into the supermarket. Once inside you're greeted by bright light and overwhelming options of rice, ramen noodles and mounds of fresh produce and fruits. They also carry veggies that may not be easy to find elsewhere. The store is clean, organized and good prices overall. Cashiers are fast and efficient. Owners act like they suspect some customers come in steal... Just strange eye contact, especially when you have a large purse.

Spacious and tide display. Not many items on sale, but the price was quite reasonable. One kind of Shanxi vinegar.

Ive gone here often for nearly a year so its about time I write the good review it deserves cuz the service is great! Even when spending nearly $30 I was able to get a fairly full bag of snacks with a good selection and at least 1 new thing to try. The cashiers are kind and usually understanding when I need to take an item off the transaction to fit in my budget. This makes it my favorite place to go when I need to do some long distance walking and I hope this store continues to prosper for as long as it remains kind to its customers!

First time today. Super clean, organized, and totally reminded me of small shopping centers from China. Plus a really nice lady was selling Pandan Waffles at 2 for $5. So good!

This place is huge! I mean it’s like you could take every Asian market in Vancouver and hide them inside it. And what’s more, it’s well lit. And it’s organized. And clean. In fact it feels a little strange. I lived in Asia for years and I spend an inordinate amount of time in Asian markets and Shun Fat is extraordinary on a variety on levels. It is one of the best stocked, biggest, cleanest, Asian markets I’ve ever been in. There are things there lining the aisles I haven’t seen since I left Asia 30 years ago. Endless varieties of chili oils, frozen dumplings, noodles, sauces, meats, fish, bits, pieces, mysterious things! I mean you could spend weeks wandering around this place trying things, learning about the world… making wonderful mistakes. Now it’s true that there are some pretty predatory shoppers there and although I had heard of the legendary little old Asian lady shoppers I was unprepared for the line of diminutive women who ruthlessly cut in front of me in the checkout line until a gentleman behind me threatened to call the manager and yelled at them. But even that was kind of an adventure! Shun Fat just screams to be explored. It wants to educate you, to become a part of your life. Literally if you can’t travel abroad then this the next best thing. You get to know a place like this. Not just the candy aisle. The whole place. After you leave, do yourself a favor and wander around the building. Lots of fun stuff to see.

I really like this store. I love the noodle selection, I always find my aloe drinks here, veggies are good, meat is.good and I usually find what I came here for. It's a four star because even though I love to shop here when I can't find something and have to ask I can't understand what he is yelling at me, usually I don't ever have to ask cause I know where everything is but the few times i do, it's impossible to get help. I still love this store and I still love coming here. I got my brother his gas single stove to cook hotpot here and it was way cheaper here then anywhere else. Kimchi is okay here. Overall I would recommend coming here to try it out, if you have a question ask a cashier.

Shunfa Supermarket must be the worst supermarket in the world! On the afternoon of July 19th, I went to this supermarket to buy some food, including a package of frozen purple sweet potato buns. When I got home and opened the package, I found that all the buns inside were severely moldy and gave off a foul smell. What was even more infuriating was that when I went back to the supermarket to ask for a refund, the staff refused! They only agreed to exchange it for another package of the same kind of purple sweet potato buns. After a long negotiation, I still couldn't succeed and had no choice but to accept their terms. But I also made a demand that the new package of purple sweet potato buns must be opened in front of me to show that it was qualified. The ending was equally shocking: it was another package of grayish-green, moldy-smelling purple sweet potato buns! I'm speechless. I will never go to this supermarket again!
