It's a regular people kind of place. The people are not pretentious, fake, nor are they rude. To date I've only seen the late night shift that is there from whenever till closing, so my experiences are based on that. But I put on the staff to be knowledgeable as in helping me to find a product or a know how the app work or how can you fix a problem with the coupon. Definitely polite but, in a "person you would meet on the street" type of way. The store was clean and well-stocked. And for the most part I think they're pretty tough competition with their prices.

The fresh meat department is not very friendly or helpful. What you see in the display is what they have! The freezer fresh meat is limited. The behind counter meat market is not customer friendly or willing to accommodate request for meat preference. The pharmacy is A#1 with me. Always willing to help & talk with customers. "Do Not Bring Any Cart, Bags, ect into the store!!! Use their grocery cart! The manager will jump on you as if your steeling. Some great prices, but also some high prices. If you need potting soil they have the lowest price in the summer time. I mainly go here for the pharmacy. The grocery store is better than others, but I don't feel real comfortable. An ok, but uneasy atmosphere. Update Jan 5th 2026. Finding this store to be uptight & unfriendly lately. An uncomfortable high security. A+++ for the pharmacy. The grocery part is a downer. No customer service. Very uptight. The stock persons run around the store with carts & having conversations with each other with no regard to customers. They have even walked right into me. Leaving pathways blocked or congested. They don't seem to have any concern if you want something in the area they are blocking & act like it is an inconvenience when they need to let you get something or have to move so you can get by them. The only reason I give two stars is because there are one or two clerks that are friendly.

Very clean store, has fun things. Great bakery, deli, fresh fruit and veggies. INCREDIBLY expensive compared to Fred Meyers as they are both Kroger! Many bakery items are literally double the price! Croissants $5 at Fred's, $9 at QFC. Many more examples. You have $ to spend, great place. On a budget, go somewhere else.

This is an overdue review, but I love QFC's bakery not only because their cakes are moist and delicious, but this is the best place to go for custom birthday cake decorating! Please note that most of the cake toppers (not all), mostly the figurines, were ones I bought separately and added onto the cake as QFC doesn't sell them at their store. If you give them an idea and vision about your birthday cake, they will make magic happen!! I've had this bakery make birthday cakes for my son's 2nd, 5th, and 6th birthday parties. His 7th birthday is coming up so I'm already planning to have them help me with creating an amazing 3D cake again this year! Hint for this year's theme--my son is really into the Astro Bot game.. LOL Danette was the cake designer for my son's 5th bday cake (Cuphead theme) which was a full sheet! It was a big project and she was amazing to work with. For my son's 6th bday cake (Fortnite theme) last year, we only did a half sheet and I think Danette also helped, but for the life of me, I can't remember who the other (main) person was, but I do remember the manager also assisted. The entire QFC Bakery staff at this location were amazing and so very helpful each and every time. Also, note that my son's 2nd bday cake was the Nightmare Before Christmas (if it wasn't obvious) cuz he loved and still loves Halloween! Everyone always asks me where and who decorated my birthday cakes as they're show stoppers at my parties. We did my son's 5th bday party at Defy and I had random ppl stopping by just to admire the cake! LOL.. My guests also commented about how moist and delicious the cakes were which is really what I care most about with cakes as I loveee a good moist cake. Although I live in Camas, WA and there's a QFC location close to me, this is my go-to place for birthday cakes and my pictures will attest why.

This is our go-to grocery store for our weekly needs. They always have a great selection as well as helpful staff and even a Starbucks inside! The only downside is the fact that often only the self check out registers are open.

I had shopped at this store from when it was built (circa 2000 or so) until August 2021. Fact check, because I shopped here too, same location: It was a previously a Kienow's. There was a pet store next door (where the self checkout and Starbucks inside is now). The adjacent Sherwin-Williams paint store was a Blockbuster video store and a Figaro's pizza at one point also. Funny. The reason for only 3 stars: I shopped there everyday for about 20 years. You see, I worked next door... across the street, and I would go there at least two to three times a day. Everyday during the work week. For coffee (Starbucks) in the morning. Lunch (a lot of Perrier, Red Bull, Amy's Kitchen and Sweet Earth). And then sometimes after work, a couple of beers (lager, pilsner or kolsh) or some other liquid refreshments and snacks. But the selection for vegans is slim (no pun intended) and it got expensive as is. Even with items on sale, I felt like a lot of the same items were cheaper and a selection in more abundance elsewhere, other Kroger stores included. As an automotive photographer, the parking lot on the way in or out would present a lot of great opportunities. And then I would meet cool people (drivers) by way of the photos. For that I give it 5 stars. I also met some really cool people who worked there, since I shopped there a lot, and in some cases, we became friends. When my business moved up north near the airport last year, I stopped going to this store, as it's too far away from any route I'm on now to return. With nearly all the people I once knew no longer working there, I find no reason to spend the kind of money Kroger wants me to spend there on the limited selection of foods I enjoy. So I go to Fred Meyers sometimes (Kroger).
