Long story short: it looks like "trap (or the best synonym here) in nice wrapping" to me. We won't visit this place again and I cannot recommend it. *So called Service: The female worker at the buffet (a lady with tattoos, 40s/50s) was rude and negligent, throwing food into boxes and pretending not to see us. She is clearly not suited for customer service, and this is among many other reasons we won’t return. We asked another worker for help (related to something else); she said someone else would assist, but no one ever came. *Food at he buffet was mediocre; we didn’t like anything we tried. The stale lavash bread (apparently with no expiration date) we bought was moldy—see the pictures. * Prices: High as hell. They even charge $0.50 per paper bag—we paid $6 for 12 bags. They double-bag by default because the quality is poor and they don’t hold up. Wait, SERIOUSLY? Most of the international items are much more expensive than comparable products at other grocery stores. It feels like exploitation at its highest level. * Location & Parking: Terrible location and driving is very inconvenient, especially on a first visit, and the parking is on a hill with no designated places for carts. Summary: Service: 1 Food: 2 Prices: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Parking & Location: 1 Bottom line: You can find much better places in the Portland metro area for quality, prices, and definitely friendlier service.

Hands down this is my favorite grocery store in Portland. The deli always serves delicious restaurant-grade food, the staff are so attentive and helpful. Their orange juice machine is a game-changer. Wide selection on pretty much all their products, and they carry mainly organic, ethically-sourced products without price gouging. Did I mention the meat section? It’s like a showroom with the quality and presentation, you can tell they take their time and really care about the work they do. Amazing place…

Yesterday, I visited them in markets from the Middle East, where you can find most things, including baked goods, appetizers, and freshly cooked ready-made food. I found there orange juice being squeezed in front of them, and some types of cheese, sweets, and drinks. Everything is excellent and clean, and the hosts receive the visitor with all confidence and a smile. Thank you to everyone.

The deli here has diverse options, backed by a mini bakery for mid eastern choices. The grocery sections caters to some ethnic food options as well as your daily staples.

It's still my favorite Middle Eastern/Mediterranean store in all of Oregon/Washington. They always have everything I want, there's always a great selection and everything is always fresh. I make the drive at least once a month to stock up on essentials and don't mind the drive across the bridge because they are always so kind, warm and welcoming and all the other stores can learn a lot about great customer service from them. They have a good variety of meats, bakery products, produce, and frozen its as well. They always have bread and lavash as well. Will continue to make the drive and gladly give them my business over other stores any day.

Most of the time I have a great experience here. For some reason tonight everything seems slowly anticipated on way to work in this store. But was greeted on way in. I was in a bit of hurry & asked for 2 slices of pizza. The Guy says no sweat..! lol! Not much a fan of salty olives, Or maybe it was the way the crust was cooked. It was all burnt at the bottom.. But the welcoming on way in was nice..
