I was honestly surprised to see some of the negative reviews here. I think a lot of it might come down to cultural differences in communication. The owner may come across a bit direct, but my experience showed me that behind that is a genuinely kind person. When my card didn’t work during checkout (on my very first visit!), instead of making me leave my groceries behind, he insisted that I take them and just pay next time. That kind of trust and generosity is rare. On top of that, the prices are fair, the vegetables are fresh, and the store—while small—offers a wide variety of items you don’t easily find elsewhere. If you come here with an open mind, you’ll see it’s not your typical Publix, but that’s exactly what makes it special.

Fantastic store, great prices, amazing selection, and the gentleman there even helped us choose a snack to get for our son. (Snack not pictured, he's eating it!) 100% will be back!

Small grocery, but he has everything you need for a basic meal. Green tea, no black. Clean esp for a Asian grocery. Reasonable prices considering the inflation we’re dealing at the moment. Will come again. Appreciate the Made in USA items.

My Husband and I first time walking in the store. The gentleman was sitting down with no eye contact. He was reading a newspaper. He didn’t even acknowledge us annd asked us if we needed help? I told my husband let’s leave the store. I personally didn’t like his attitude. When we left the store! he just hold up his hands. This is a horrible store to purchase from him. This is very bad customer service he the most nasty man to experience. Poor customer service that’s was he was we will not go again.

The only Asian market in Port Charlotte, it is good for the things you need at hand. I enjoy going for it is close to home and he carries most of the things that I need and want. I'm thankful for this place! He could add a little more.
