I often shop here to get deals on particular items. Love that it has a bakery, deli, and seafood section. You can find a little bit of everything in this place. There is also a bank inside, and a floral section. There is a parking lot and other businesses outside. The wait to pay is not bad at all. Just wish they were 24 hours.
This location has gone down in recent years. It’s not carrying what it used to. There’s homeless people camping outside the entrance. There’s menacing punk kids on motorbikes and scooters in the parking lot at times. The employees are not nice and one of them, a stock person with a dolly, said excuse me as he passed me and then muttered something under his breath once he passed. Unfortunately, this is the closest location for me, and the next time it happens I will make a big deal out of it and report it to management on the spot.
Great place to shop for groceries. They have a big selection of items and have fair prices as well as coupons and membership savings. They recently did renovations which involved labeling the departments with giant light-up letters, prioritizing the self-checkout section near the entrance/exit with a bigger space and about 8 checkout machines, and also switches around most of the aisles. Some of the new aisle changes are a bit strange to me. Like they have the bread aisle pretty far down near the personal care items and the international section takes up roughly 4 aisles towards the beginning end (left side). This side also contains bulk beverages like 12-pack Coca-Cola and Pepsi products. And it's also pretty weird that the Pharmacy is near the soda products and there are a few personal care items nearby, but the majority of the personal care items are now all the way at the other end of the store??? I feel like they should have kept them near the pharmacy like before, but I want to hope that there was a method to this madness and I guess I can get used to the new arrangement. (I also found it hilarious that I found toilet paper next to the beans.) There are certain things here that irk me like labeling avocados as 5 for $3 in one section and then $1.66 each in the section right behind it. It makes it seem like 5 for $3 might be the better deal, but the price you pay for one is still $1.66 so it's just strange that they felt the need to include a 5 for $3 sign. Also, the fact that some products are unnecessarily wrapped in huge amounts of plastic is so wasteful and bad for the environment. 4 small tomatoes do not need to be covered in plastic. There's a ton of other examples I could give, but I don't want to be here all day. But overall, this Stop and Shop is still a great place to buy your groceries and I will continue to come back here. I wish they would be more sustainable with their packaging, but that's a way bigger problem than just this particular Stop & Shop so I feel inclined to give them a pass. Also, this location contains a full-service Queens County Savings Bank for anybody wondering.
I love this location. Its convenient, well stocked, well lit, well spaced and has great employees. The deli section has a large amount of available hot and cold food. Everything is prepared fresh and looks appetizing. The bakery is also really great and offers a large selection of fresh and prepared baked goods. You're gonna have a lot of good options when you come here. They also have a ton of deals on almost every item. The only issue I really had is the restrooms could be better. They're located in the employees locker room and your employees work hard so you should definitely work on bringing that up to par... for them and for us. The other thing is parking but they cant control the fact that people cant drive properly in the parking lot lol So definitely take your time out there and keep your eyes open 👍
The produce needs to improve. I purchased some yuca and it was rotten inside. This has happened before and after I alerted the store and it got better for a while. Now, I don't bother buying them there anymore. Other than that, I enjoy shopping there.
I had a great shopping experience! All the aisles were neat and clean and the cashier named Cristina absolutely made my experience even better! Not only is she so stylish and beautiful but her customer service was spot on ! She was attentive to my needs! She accommodated me, she helped me with all my needs! She even asked me about my experience! I just wanna say another thing , I just moved to ozone park and she was the only one who welcomed me to the neighborhood! Her attire is fire! Very professionally dressed and because of her great service I shall return ! Make that lady a manager! Luv her!!!🫡
This is a great supermarket. The staff is very professional. Everything that I need, I can find it here. It has fresh produce, fish, meats, and great sushi. Prices are very reasonable . There are lots of parking.
