Probably the first Bangladeshi-owned grocery store with such a massive and well-curated assortment of products. The collection across all categories is impressive and thoughtfully stocked. The halal meat section truly stands out — exceptionally fresh, with a great variety of high-quality cuts, including superb steak options. Their frozen food section is also excellent, offering a wide range of choices. Most importantly, the pricing feels fair and justified for the quality they provide. Free shopping bags are a nice bonus, the parking lot is spacious and convenient, and the staff are very hospitable and welcoming. Overall, a great shopping experience and a strong addition to the community.
I went to this supermarket for their soft opening, their grand opening, and even a little after that. The store is big, clean, and has a great variety of foods from all around the world. It’s always busy, which shows how much people like it. The employees on the floor who stock the shelves and walk around are helpful. If you ask where something is, they’ll usually point you in the right direction and tell you where to find it. They’re polite and do their job well. The main problems are with the cashiers and the butcher section. At checkout, the cashiers sometimes double-scan items or enter the wrong prices, so you have to watch the screen carefully. They also get distracted talking to other cashiers instead of focusing on the customer in front of them. The butcher section is slow; there are several workers behind the counter, but they all focus on one person at a time. Even when someone finally helps you, they can forget your order because they’re not paying attention. Overall, the store itself is great and has a lot of potential, but they really need to improve the cashier and butcher departments to match the rest of the staff.
Yesterday I went to the Kalam’s Bazaar for the first time. I wanted to go when they first opened, but I couldn't make the time. Whatever making long story short, I bought some chicken and frozen goat. Then I returned home. I realized price was a little higher since the frozen goat was on sale. Then I checked receipt and meats. I saw they charged for "goat mix fresh" in receipt and meat label’s. but I bought frozen goat. Then I called to meat section, I explained but they declined and they argued with me. I decided to go back to their store with meats. I showed meat to one of their cashier she said "Could be wrong" then she called another guy he came I explained everything then he goes to meat section with me and said " may be by mistake " .Then he left from meat section without fully resolving the issue . I told to meat section I want to return it for now. But they said it’s not returnable. We can't take it back. They told me go to that guy, I went back to that guy explained everything again then he agreed to take it back. During this whole incident nobody in that store from the cashier, meat section people or the guy who took return never said sorry for one time. They were rude and it seemed like they do it on daily basis.I bought just 2 items & they changed me wrong. people who go to shop and there & buy multiple items they may not realize for how many items they are being charged wrong! The management should be more careful about this.Train their employees how to do business with good customer service .

This is a very good supermarket with a large assortment of Asian food and snacks. All the meat is halal, and they offer super fresh cuts of meat along with fresh fruits and vegetables. The prices aren't too bad either. It's a great place to shop or at least give a try.
Amazing collection of good quality products. I loved their fresh produce and halal meat corner specially. Smart interior along with organized product segmentation made it comfortable and enjoyable for the shoppers. Hope they will come up with more surprises after starting officially. Overall i had good experience on their soft opening day. May Allah bless Kalam's Bazaar.
