First Oriental Market

First Oriental Market is a great local Asian market with a lot of character and authenticity. It’s smaller than the Asian Orem store nearby, but it has a solid selection of Korean and Asian groceries, snacks, rice/noodles, sauces, and refrigerated foods. The owners are hardworking and always friendly, and you can tell they care about the store and their craft. I really hope this place stays around. Small markets like this are very cozy, and this one deserves support. I’ll be returning!

My Japanese mother used to bring me here as a kid and I continue to go as an adult. Small store but it has a great selection. I always go here instead of the bigger market next door.

They have a very wide variety of products--despite it being such a small store. Super friendly staff (mom and pop shop). Best Asia /Korean market that ive been to here in Utah county.

This is a really fun place to come for snacks, me and my little brother come here accasianlky to do so. His favorite are the red bean buns, he always goes stright for them. I can't wait to bring my friends and show them.

20years and Same spot!!! I am happy to stop by here today on my family trip. The store Korean owner was so so nice and very friendly. Also lots stuff in store price was reasonable for me. Sometimes I can’t find a Korean market in new place on the trip and even I found it the price is so expensive but this store price was good!! I love it. And The store wasn’t big big like another new supermarkets around there but The Store has most stuffs for the who love Korean foods and Asian food lovers. I would like to stop by whenever i stay around here. Thank you!!!

First Oriental Market is the Korean/Asian supermarket that is our family’s go-to for all of our Korean food recipes! I’m a Korean, and First Oriental Market has everything we really need! They recently re-organized their shop and even added a cute little ramen/라면 corner, which is something that’s been popular in shops in Korea. The family that owns the store is so kind, and while it’s great that the recent opening of Hmart encourages the expansion of various Asian cuisines and cultures, it’s really important to continue supporting local shops like this one (First Oriental Market in Orem, UT).
