88 Ranch Marketplace

I bought at 88 Ranch Marketplace a couple days ago 1- Large size of rice Crackers for $5.99, and 2- small individual size of another sort of crackers that were 2 for $5.00. Today I came to return them because all three were stale. Stale enough for my taste that I found them inedible. I spoke to a young cashier who went and got the older woman manager. I explained and she told me in a not so nice way, "I cannot return these because they are opened" Mind you I had the receipt and there was only 1 piece missing from the large package, and 1 piece from one of the small opened bag, the other not opened. I couldn’t believe she said that as I told her, "How would I know they are stale if I hadn’t opened the bag?" She was rude and refuse to honor my receipt and my word. I told her I shopped there all the time, love the store. But I would definitely take my business elsewhere from now on, she said Fine. Gave me back the money for the 2 little bags, but gave up all my business for $5.99 bag of rice crackers. To me certainly not about the money but the Principal and her stinky attitude towards me. Wow, just WOW! BELOW standards customer service

I was really excited when this store opened a few years back in Oceanside! There aren’t many Asian grocery stores around that offer such a wide variety of products. I’m so relieved I don’t have to drive all the way down to San Diego anymore! One of my favorite things is how they fry fish for you. As much as I love fish, I definitely don’t want my house smelling like it! 🐠🐟😁

I'm Korean and live near here, and I can't live without Korean food. H Mart is too far away, but 88 Mart is very close, just 2 minutes away. The parking lot is spacious, and they not only have Korean food, but also Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipino, and various other food ingredients. My favorite sections are the fresh meat and fish section, and the newly added Korean food and frozen food section. They also sell ice cream, bread, dumplings, and kimbap. The vegetables are very cheap and fresh. The ramen section in particular has a wide variety of Korean ramen. I highly recommend visiting.

I own a business and purchase a lot of my product from this store. I went and tried to purchase a 20lb case of Persian Cucumbers and the store owner wouldn't honor the $1.99 price marked on the shelf for the case and tried charging me $50 for it which would be more than the price marked. Bad business practice and they just lost a lot of business from a guy who spends $1000's of dollars with them. It's a shame that they got greedy over $10 because it was a new case that just came in and they price it higher because of that.

Great place for Asian food items. I also like to buy my ginger root here! This store is a wonderful place for fresh fish every different variety you could think of

Fresh fish and meats and aray of Asian items. Need taro? Shitake mushrooms? Chili paste? Phó bouillon? Mochi? It has most of the exotic items you seek in North County.

Love going to this place. Have all the food items for any background. They have a machine that if you want fresh orange juice, you can made it there too. Also, you can ask them to deep fry your fish for free when you purchase a fish there. Only given 4 star because the people that work at the meat n fish section are always seem unhappy, no greeting even if you are there, and even pretend that there no one there until you call them or ring the bell. Furthermore, when you ask them to fry the fish, they don't do a good job of cleaning the fish.
