Samosas and vadas are tasty. Good collection of teas from Sri Lanka and India. Many Sri Lankan items, well stocked, though some didnt have price tag. I browsed through many items, some prices are slightly higher than Northern Virginia store I shop at. Over all good store, will stop by when I am in the area.

been overcharged a couple of times. plus, we were waiting to check out and the person at the counter was yelling at someone on the phone using every hindi bad word imaginable, looked at us while doing it too, maybe he thought we don’t speak hindi (wild to assume at an indian store), seems a bit rude and unprofessional.

i’ve been going here with my family since i was 8. i’m now in my 30’s and can say i still love going here. the selection they have is wide and great.

I bought a turmeric powder that had price tag of $3.99, but in my receipt it was charged as $4.99. When I checked with him, he said the price tag was wrong. I got a gut feeling that something was wrong. I ended up going back to the aisle and showed him that all the other price tags for the same item were marked as $3.99, that's when he apologized and gave a $1 back. I see now -- there are other several reviews commenting on price tag and overcharging issues, please believe them! I would advise to always check the receipt. And if you are good at bargaining -- this will be the best store to exercise it!

The location is convenient! You can find almost all Sri Lankan and some Indian dry food items/spices here. They have a limited selection of produce and premade food. Itemized bills are not the best- sometimes they combine things together, don't have specific item names in the system. I would also check the best before dates of products.

Friendly and well stocked Indian grocery store. We’ve been going for years

Its a relatively small grocery store. With almost everything you need to cook indian, south indian & Sri lankan dishes. Well stocked frozen cooked and uncooked items, both veg & nonvegetarian frozen meals. Their $1 each baked samosas are quite tasty. You might find items without price tags. Decently priced woth some marginal profits in compare to other big indian retailers. They also stock frozen raw fish from Bangladesh. Just be vigilant as they do not provide itemized receipt.
