Customer Reviews
Whole Foods Market has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 based on over 2205 reviews on Google
The staff are so kind. The store was immaculately clean! It's the only place I've found most of my goat products, which is a big deal for my nutrition which limits what I can eat. Their hot bar is stocked with delicious fresh gourmet food which is better than going to any fast food chain or sandwich shop!
So happy you brought back the beef wellington this year (yes, I did complain several times that you did not offer it last Christmas). It was the best I've ever had (been serving it for several years) and my husband and company loved it. I hope you will continue to offer it every year at Christmas.
Our #1 store for fresh produce, keto products and other things. People working there are very kind and helpful. It's noce to see same faces week after week, month after month. They have often discounts on different things. If you can spend enough time checking different discounted products, you'll find some cheaper than anywhere else.
No issues with the store itself but the Amazon drop off counter seems like an easy way for them to scam. I dropped off 4 items yesterday. Some birthday decor and a rug. I was told I was ‘good to go’ and got an email within 10 min for the party decor. Never got one for the rug. Now it’s lost and I’m on the hook for that.
I recently purchased Blue catfish from the Seafood Department. When I got home and opened my purchase. I could immediately smell that the fish was bad. I returned it and reported to the problem to the seafood department. I was told that sometimes it has a smell. As a person that loves to fish, I immediately schooled the young man that fresh fish should smell like the ocean not a dead carcass. I also let him know that what they were selling as blue catfish was just regular filet catfish. The seafood department needs to do a better job of training their employees on the difference between spoiled seafood. I have brought fish from this location before and this is the first bad experience.
Since the opening of your store in Newport News, this has been the cake for me. The Berry Chantilly Cake has been part of every celebration in my family and business — I absolutely love it! However, last September we purchased one for a close friend, and to my surprise, I couldn’t eat it. I thought maybe it was just that particular cake being old or not fresh. But last week was my birthday, and my family surprised me with my favorite cake again — and once more, it was dry, had barely any cream, and the fruit inside was missing in action. I understand that costs are rising and adjustments may need to be made, but when quality is sacrificed, you lose loyal customers like me. I’m not writing this to ask for a free cake — I’m writing because I’m truly disappointed.
DO NOT BUY OYSTERS!! Over half the oysters were dead upon opening. This is the second time and out of 12 oysters 4 were safe to eat. The clerk was so uneducated on seafood handling and after explaining the proper way off handling/observing she got her manager every time who told her everything that I said. They clearly don’t train on safe food handling and the safety department needs to inspect this place.
