E Mart

We shop here for produce, meat and pretty much everything we need at least once a month (usually more than that) Please bring back Crystal Noodles in the ramen section! I swear during 2024-2025 I was the only person buying them until they were gone, they never returned :' (

I heard about this place and how they sell a variety of African/international food produce and I had to go there. Indeed I was glad I visited and plan to shop there going forward. They sell almost everything you can think of; from fresh seafood to fishies and meat of different kinds, fresh vegetables, spices, etc. It’s a great place to shop based on great selection of everything.

Interesting Asian food store. It is large and they have everything from hard to find spices and Asian produce to work's. The seafood area is huge with all kinds of fish, octopus and oysters.

I wait in "line" for 20 minutes for fresh seafood. I step up to the counter to give my order like the five people that were in front of me. The guy behind the counter looks right past me and says "next in line!" This was the last time I set foot in this place. I previously purchased fresh shrimp just to get home and find 1/4 of them were rotten. Do yourself a service and try and find another market. They really don't care about serving you here, nor what they are serving you.

Looks a little run down but the selection can't be beat. They have foods from everywhere, including produce, and meats/fish that are rare to find in the supermarket. They even sell cookware and appliances.

I have been fortunate a friend told me about E-Mart in Newport News. This store has plenty of fresh produce and seafood and hard to find international food items.

E Mart is an enormous Korean-style hypermarket, offering a vast array of goods from fresh groceries and live seafood to clothing and electronics. It’s a fantastic one-stop-shop for both local and imported products, including hard-to-find Korean items. The sheer size and variety make it a great place to explore and stock up, especially for unique Asian snacks and quality produce.
