Hung Vuong Food Market Delaware

Large Asian food market with plenty of refrigerated, frozen, and packaged food options. They have a large meat and fresh seafood section. Some fresh fruit & vegetables although not large. And there’s a good section of kitchen wares & household items. This facility also has a few storefronts offering prepared food, desserts, & baked goods at the main entrance before going into the supermarket entrance.

We went here right after a big meal next door at the Korean BBQ & Hot Pot otherwise we’d probably have bought some of the great things at the Once Upon a Bite Grill & Braise Eatery you’ve got to walk past some fantastic looking roasted ducks and pork to get into The Hung Vuong Food Market Delaware. Seems like this little parking lot is a little bit of Asia. This place is huge ask I understand it had once been a big box Toys "R" Us store. Back in Montgomery County, MD I’ve used the H-Mart & Great Wall Supermarket chains but I think this makes them look like convenience stores. They might not have had as large a fresh produce selection but the seafood market reminded me of elements I’d recently seen in Japan and Korea. Given how hard it is to find ethnic foods in the vanilla territory, I’m thrilled to find another source. Just wish such resources like this, and Trader Joe’s another shopping experience close to this were available in southern Delaware.

Great Asian market I can find everything I need in one spot. Decent pho place when you first enter but their banh mi is where it’s at! Feel like could’ve added a little more meat and filling but the flavor was amazing.

They have a huge variety of products, especially snacks and candy. It has more variety than other stores like hmart or 99 ranch. Prices aren't bad. Some staff are rude. One older woman employee walked in front of me in a small snack aisle while I was looking at products, just to walk in front of me. Didn't say excuse me or anything. It was a small aisle that didn't go anywhere since it was on the side. Disrespectful elders as typical. Wish they had skincare products. They just have a handful of Japanese and Korean shampoos.

Awesome produce selection and prices. Huge selection of ingredients. So many snacks options! One if my favorite grocery stores.

Very nice market! I felt like I was in another country. It was so clean and lots of different things to see. My husband and I walked through the market and were stunned to see the fish market. It was really awesome! Definitely will be back to try out the lobster & other fish. Prices aren’t bad either. We grabbed a sweet treat that’s outside of the market.. for an Oreo dessert. It was reallly good. Can’t wait to go back and try other things like the Thai teas. 🤤

I like the store it’s clean and organized. I’ve purchased seafood and fruit and vegetables and tried a few other things that caught my attention, soursop. My first soursop was huge and juicy and sweet, but the one I got yesterday after I opened it I see that it’s dried up and bitter and brown inside. I want to return it for the price I paid for
