Sarh Deli Grocery

On Tuesday night, July 29th, 2025, I bought a pint of Haagen Dazs Black and White Cookie ice cream here. When I got it home and prepared to eat it, I noticed it didn't look right. I checked the freshness date on the bottom of the container and found it was November 30th, 2024! On Thursday, the 31st, I attempted to return the item for a refund of $7.28, explaining the situation to the owner. He would hear none of it and insisted he didn't sell that particular flavor. I found the item at the top of a stack in the freezer, but given the date on it, common sense should tell anyone it was in the freezer a long time before I decided to buy it. Again, the owner was totally uncooperative with me, so I filed a complaint against him and his store with the Better Business Bureau of New York City. (Naturally, this store is not registered with the BBB, and I have yet to receive any response from the Bureau.)
