Deli in UES serving various Indian foods like chole, samosa chaat, curries, and biryani. I got the samosa chaat and it was absolutely delicious. The taste is much better than Punjab deli in LES. Will be back to try the other food.

I had an amazing meal, and an amazing experience thanks to the owner! I had a lunch combo with chickpea, saag and lentils, the saag was absolutely amazing, the chickpeas were fantastic as were the lentils, I saved the saag for last because it was so good I wanted the best for last! I also tried the chickpea halvah which was absolutely amazing, and the chai was so good with the hints of ginger, very refreshing! The employees are a delight to talk to, and I was surprised to know that they were related to the Punjabi Deli from downtown where I live, but don't make that a plus, they are equally fantastic places. I will be coming again and again, and I wish you all the best, see you soon!

I came across this place when I was organizing an Indian tea party for my friend. I called them and the owner, Harpreet, was extremely helpful. She guided us on what snacks to choose as well as the quantity. She was communicative through out the catering process, giving us updates and being flexible to suit our needs. The food was ready right on time, the chai was a HUGE hit as were the samosas, chutney sandwiches, chicken pakoras and aloo tiki. I would highly recommend this spot and can't wait to try out their biryani one day!

This Review Is for Punjabi Junction in New York city on 1st Ave. Twice got spoiled food. First a few months ago, Palak paneer had gone bad and they sold the same to me. Again today (May2, 2025) bought chole (asked for 8 ozs). But they charged me for 16ozs and gave me 16 ozs. Once again, I got home and checked it had gotten spoiled. I live too far to walk back and return. Pretty upset about it. Plz taste food before you buy anything.

For half the cost of a subway ride, I have the privilege of walking a few blocks from home and picking up the perfect park sack lunch: a single veggie samosa, lovingly heated and packed with napkins (and chutney!) Truly grateful for the experience ♥️

This establishment is very responsive to request for food for delivery. The co-owner Is very caring about the food that she prepares for my elderly father and my father enjoys the food very much. I value what they do.
