don’t shop here if you want to be yelled at!!!! i’ve never left a review for a grocery store before and tbh don’t remember leaving a review anywhere else but had to here because the woman at the cash register was the rudest customer service person i’ve ever dealt with. I was buying some beers, and the system said to "bag the item" when there was no bags in site. Rather than going to help me, she kept yelling at me infront of everyone to put the beers in bagging area. I kept telling her it’s not that, but she kept yelling. I put the beers in bagging area and the problem was still there (customer was right). Even after this, she kept asking the employee if I paid in spanish (yes i understand spanish) yet let everyone else pay at their own pace. Extremely rude and unprofessional. This felt like profiling to me. I will never ever shop here again If the manager wants to speak to me, feel free to send me a message. I would advise you to see the footage of your own store to see how your customers are being treated and train your employees better
I am absolutely shocked and disgusted by the way I was treated today at Key Food by the cashier named Elvis. His attitude was beyond unprofessional — it was downright rude and unacceptable. From the moment I approached the register, he acted as if I were bothering him just by existing. No greeting, no basic courtesy — just a cold, hostile demeanor that made the entire interaction incredibly unpleasant. If someone clearly hates their job this much, maybe it’s time to consider another profession. Why subject customers to your bad mood and disrespect? Working with people requires at least a minimal level of politeness. If you can’t be kind, at the very least, don’t be outright rude. I honestly cannot understand how someone with such a toxic attitude was hired in the first place. Are cashiers at this location not trained on how to speak to customers with basic respect? Is common courtesy no longer a requirement? I love shopping in this neighborhood, but this experience was so awful that I left the store feeling angry and disrespected. Management should seriously reconsider who they allow to represent their store at the front line. People like Elvis damage your reputation and make customers never want to return.
Selection seemed ok but the lady by the register was very rude, and judging by the reviews here I'm not the only one who's had a problem
They post lower prices and then charge you higher prices, so gotta be careful, check your receipt. Also, they do not have prices for lots of items. Gotta watch for expired food as well. Moreover gotta turn that lettuce and grapes upsidedown to see that the bottom part is rotten. When raising a concern, get ready to be yelled at and told that you don't know how to read smh.
I've been going to this supermarket for 25 years. I never saw their customer service get any better. They have a bad unwelcoming attitude, i never felt comfortable. Most of them got a chip on their shoulder. It's the only supermarket near me. So like the saying goes...."l gotta deal with it", and I have. However, since the self check out machine were installed, they've gotten a tad pleasant. I do prefer the self service much better.
Just went into the store to get a few things milk cereal drinks. The store itself clean well organized not many cashier's but they are friendly and helpful. As a former cashier customers always come 1st
After 25 years of being their customer just literally got pushed and insulted by the female manager. Refused to name herself (rudely demonstratively turned her back). Other cashiers seemed threatened and intimidated to tell her name, although looked apologetic, except one (clearly an accomplice) who started defending the aggressive manager and bullying me. The nearby customers were outraged and supportive of me, but both bullies stayed utterly rude and obnoxious. If not for the first hand horrendous experience I would have never believed this was possible in this country! Beware, especially if you are elderly!
