Fresh Superette

This is my go-to small business shop to get groceries, vegetables, beer and tomato juice. The owners are very friendly and the prices while not cheap are reasonable.

This was my local shop for groceries for years and as far as I know it is family owned and they are very welcoming abd friendly people. 10/10

Excellent hidden gem. If you do not want to go to HMart on 115 St and Broadway, because you live in Washington Heights and need some Asian staples, this can be your go-to spot. I was in a hurry or I would have taken some pictures. They had a variety of Thai Kitchen and KA*ME products. They had both large and small Banh Trang Vietnam Rice Paper. They had many types of noodles for a range of noodle dishes. They had a small selection of fresh ingredients like: Korean (daikon) Radish, bean sprouts, napa cabbage, fresh mini and large cucumbers, snap peas, basil, mint, mushrooms, scallion, refrigerated tofu, zucchini, . Looking to stock your pantry they had a selection of Asian vinegars, soy sauces, sesame oil, dried seaweed, and I may have seen a commercial fish sauce. They did have Sriracha. They had white miso, and 2-3 different kimchees in a jar. It is a small supermarket, and has other American products and I think it's a good neighborhood spot that gets you Asian pantry staples when you cannot go to a large Asian supermarket. Happy to have found it.

Great neighborhood grocery store with high quality produce and gourmet deli items at reasonable prices! One time some soups were mislabeled and owner told me for next time. I was surprised and wanted to pay the difference as I didn’t mind. The owner insisted it was fine, just wanted to make sure I wouldn’t be surprised the next time. I laughed as I just love these particular soups and hadn’t bothered to look at the price 😅

Just had a terrible experience. I stopped in to get an apple juice and paid with an older $10 bill. Not only did the cashier/owner accuse the bill of being counterfeit - she also asked the gentleman behind me in line to check and see if he thought it was real. I have way better things to do than to con someone for a $2 apple juice. I will never shop here again. This unprofessional and discriminatory behavior will not be rewarded with my hard earned money.

This place was my go-to spot before I moved. They are small but mighty and have a good selection of some Asian foods. The workers are all kind.

Great deli in Washington Heights. Has specialty food items like kombucha and asian foods and it's still a pretty small store. It's kinda pricey but worth going to if you're looking for that odd food item.
