Finally. My candies are restocked. It's been a minute. It's definitely one of my favorite Washington Heights grocery stores, Bodega. The staff keep the store neat clean and well stocked. This is the ONLY store in Manhattan that carries these hard candies I can't get enough of.. warnings from my dentist have limited my consumption. Nonetheless, I went through withdrawal for the past 2.5 months. That was ENOUGH! I took an Uber and Voila, and they recently restocked. I purchased a dozen. It should last me approx 3 months. Ion, probably not. Currently I'm in a very good place. Me, myself & the candy drops. 😘 Winning... it's always the littlest things that bring me so much joy. 🫦

Quick, take a guess, how much do you think this 2 oz bottle of vanilla extract cost me at Food Universe? This is a great neighborhood grocery store but "the owners are price gouging." I payed $50 for the ingredients to make a carrot cake. Usually, the retail price of a 2 oz bottle of vanilla extract is $8. At this supermarket they charged me $12 !!! Be careful. I will only be shopping here in the future for quick emergencies.

Very clean place very friendly people they have a wide variety of products Is their produce is very fresh Overall I would recommend anyone to come here and shop this place is wonderful and I had a great experience here.

Supermarket is overly priced. Prices Sometimes don't match when scanned at register. It's happened multiple times to me. Also , look out for expired food. Sometimes I'm in a rush and do not read exp date. Various times I've come out of there with expired food. Staff is nice. But honestly, supermarket can do better.

I have seen this supermarket change names many time but always liked it regardless. Never had to complain. But lately they seem to have changed. First, I bought a tray of "fresh" chicken when I got home it was smelling so so so bad. So I went back and got another one. I can’t believe they would sell chicken that’s not fresh. Their prices also seem to be going up but the quality of the produce is poor. I also recently bought 5 gallons of water that were extremely high in price. Compared to other supermarkets. I am very disappointed.

I shop here about 1/2 the time because it's convenient and their prices on chicken are very good BUT 1. Invariably there is something without a price marked and 2. If you don't show your Key Food store tag you'll never get the lower price that's advertised! I always feel like I'm getting ripped off.

I have been going to this supermarket since 2004 and it is open 365 days per year give or take a few hours one special holidays. Everyone is so helpful and my petite size exempts me from reaching anything above 5.5' taller then my arms can reach. The same employees for the most part for >10 years and cashiers always super friendly. They have a small but supreme selection of items. Everyone in there knows my son and enjoys his hospitable personality!
