Chinatown Supermarket of Manhattan 新中華超市

If you're a foodie and like to adventure out and try something different then this is the place to go, they have a large variety of seafoods that I've never seen before they have cheap good quality meats they butcher themselves and also found foods that I've haven't been able to find in years , they have a grocery store above the seafood market. Some of the fruits and vegetables were huge and exotic. I went there for the price and was able to get so much seafood for the very low and everything was fresh and clean as I made seafood boil that same day I would recommend this place if you're looking for affordable seafood I went in the grocery store and walked back out because everything was in Chinese or Asian packaging I didn't have enough time to venture but will definitely come back

One of your typical local Chinese market. Downstairs is produce and meats/ seafood as well as frozen goods while upstairs has your spices, sauces, instant products, and snacks. Prices are reasonable but some of the produce you can get cheaper from street vendors. Overall it's a place for locals not tourists.

Somewhat of a nightmare from beginning to end, it’s hard to get into and in a basement, not only that they follow their own timings and don’t shut at the times they have stated on Google! I went and they had closed at least 15 mins earlier than stated online.

Very bad experience, the one star is directed towards a specific cashier with a horrible attitude. Around 4PM on June 19, I was on the lower level at the checkout counter near the inner wall (the counter farther away from the exit). For clarity, that cashier have many freckles on her face. She does not have the necessary abilities and attitude as a cashier. I am sorry for the one star given to the whole supermarket, but I really recommend improving staff service.

Not so good because sometimes the checkout person was very rude so don’t get angry once when I was shopping and I went to check out the checkout person let another person who are behind us check out first like that’s so rude. We came here first right like she shows no respect so don’t get that mad if you can’t come here.

This place offers an impressive selection of spices and sauces, all of exceptional quality and at great prices. It’s become a cherished routine to stock up on these delights!
