Lion Supermarket

Unique among Asian grocery stores, it carries brands you can’t find elsewhere—something that can be either a blessing or a curse. Prices are usually slightly lower than at other stores, and I especially like their locally made fresh tofu and douhua (豆腐、豆花).

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve been shopping at this supermarket for over 10 years because it’s close to my apartment. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a consistent decline in customer service. A few of the cashiers are rude, unprofessional, and spend time gossiping—often in Vietnamese, which I understand. This used to be my go-to spot for quick groceries, but not anymore. I’d rather shop at a store that values professionalism and treats customers with respect. It’s disappointing to see long-term employees behaving this way, as it reflects poorly on the entire business. If management doesn’t address these issues, I wouldn’t be surprised if this store eventually closes.

Good selections and cheaper prices than some other Asian grocery stores! Love the durian!😋

We only go here for some specific food, but it is recommended compare with any ranch99 store. Lion market has fresher stuff and cheaper price vs ranch99

The cashier/customer service staff were unprofessional and impolite. They were unwilling to answer my questions and seemed impatient throughout the interaction. This made the experience frustrating；

Saturday 2/19/22 visit No meat or seafood or cold goods in the back of the store, all closed off. Some dry and canned goods on the shelves, some pallets of noodles around, fair amount of produce. It appears the store may be clearing out, though I did not notice any signs regarding this.

I find the Supermarket is organized, clean and it has variety of foods and selections to choose. There is a lot of parking spaces to park.
