Mekong Plaza

Love having this plaza in Mesa for many years now. They recently added more shops and beautified some areas. In my opinion the pond should’ve been tucked away in a corner further from the street, but it’s still pretty to sit nearby while enjoying a treat. Also it would be nice if the public restrooms were larger and more updated. Other than that, this place is always a vibe ❤️

Excellent meal experience. We had Peking duck (see photo). It was very tasty. The best hot & sour soup I've ever had. House fried rice was very unique. I'll definitely be back.

Walked in under the Mekong Plaza sign. Passed the bathrooms, from which sewage smells wafted. Apart from that initial walk into the building when I smelled nothing untoward, the stench dominated the building. Not a fun experience. I bought nothing. GET EXHAUST FANS IN YOUR RESTROOMS! And have a master plumber come look at your setup. Or maybe a city or county health code inspector.

Asian plaza with a Mekong supermarket and multiple restaurants including Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese ones. Also multiple boba tea places and a bakery shop. Very interesting.

Mekong Supermarket is a true staple in Mesa! The plaza has so much to explore—Japanese beauty shops, bakeries, boba spots, an ice cream shop, Unforgettable Pho, Mekong Sandwiches, Happy Baos, and more. 🛍️🍜🍵 The parking lot is huge, so finding a spot is usually easy (weekends can get a little busier). If you haven’t been, definitely check it out—you can spend hours just eating and browsing!

Outstanding! I use Phoenix travel tours International and they are great. Easy process for visa and friendly and informative. They are now my go to for travel visas! Also, some great hot pot places as well as Asian shops and markets

Asian store, variety of products, the biggest factor is the fish station. It's live fish and crab when it's in season. Lots of mini restaurants, boba tea places, ice cream shop, household goods. The only downside is that it's not that clean, the shopping carts and baskets are hardly cleaned. The cashiers station is not clean. So be careful when putting stuff on the counter when checking out. Sometimes rotting vegetables are hidden within the fresh ones. Mekong has expanded but they need to clean up their main store. Asking a staff questions can be challenging since they hardly speak English. Price wise, it's ok. You can find the same products cheaper at another Asian market.
